Thanks for your comments guys and yes rick it is actually set for magnums and was like this when I bought it so that could well be the problem I will have to have a look at it and as I don't really have the need to fire magnums think I will set it to normal Dan

Another possibility is if you know the farmer well ask him for a couple if buckets of seeds that be peas/beans what ever he had drilled and sprinkle them about near we're your going to set your hide a couple days before your going to shoot this makes the birds hopefully stay around a bit longer and gets situated on the field so you could be in for some good shooting!! Hey guys sorry for the Kate reply I went and got set up well really staked the hide and decoys down and was on a field of rape and their was a flock of about 1000 in the bottom corner sheltering behind the hedgerow I had a lone pigeon come into the pattern and soon as I let a shot off the all went up and disappeared and never saw another for the 3 hrs I was sat do packed up and went home lol Oh we can all try again Dan

http://tablet.franchiusa.com/firearms/48_al/index.php Just recently got hold of one of these franchi semi autos it's a very nice gun with lovely engraving and excellent at its job off killing what you aim at( within range obviously) but the only drawback is the long recoil which make it kick like a donkey and after a decoying session lately ended up with a nice bruise on my shoulder!! I just wondered what peoples views were on this gun and which cartridge you prefer to use with it as I'm using the hull superfast 29g which I'm really liking at the moment!! Any of your views and recommendations and stories would greatly be appreciated Thanks dan

Hi sorry if teir is already a post on here about his but I couldn't find it!! other than all your equipment and decoys and hide blowing away and just been a nightmare to control will pigeons decoy into a pattern when it's very windy? I'm from east Yorkshire and its howling a gale here and seen as I have the Day off work ( as this wind has blown down some block walls the site manager won't let us work) was gong to have a few hrs shooting? Any suggestions and tips would really be appreciated thanks Dan

I've been twice the first in 2003 and was a brilliant holiday very good all round the second in 2004 and it put me off for life their was a massive earthquake and half the airport was near on falling down and I ended up getting £2000 stole from my bank account as some thieving ****** cloned my bank card when I used it over their It's a lovely place but just don't trust the people and take enough cash NO CARDS lol Hope you enjoy

hello people im dan 28 from east yorkshire went shooting this afternoon with my new semi auto to try it out ive decided to actually make an account and chat with you all other then just reading the posts in the forums.. id like to say i got hundreds of the flying litte **** but i honestly dont think their is that many actually in exsistance any more as their not showing themselves haha.
