  1. I asked his father a while back,(Family owned farm) but it now appears that him and his father have fallen out,not a good term to be on when doing something that the other person gave you permision to do..
  2. I had a quad and he had no problems with me driving it around who knows, maybe im too keen! i do regard my self as quite a petrol head! currently rebuilding a 1964 mg midget from scratch! Thanks guys JOsh
  3. Would they cover me?bearing in mind i am only 15 and dont even hold a provisional license, without sounding big headed i regard my self as a safe and cautious driver over any terrain, even dad is jealous Thanks Josh
  4. I agree completely! I think it would be easier to understand if you saw the permission i am talking about. It is a roadway surrounded by around 7 or 8 fields. I only go shooting when no one is at work and other than a farm yard at the end of the roadway and our house at the other end there is nothing about to hit really..! But thankyou for your input Josh
  5. I recently went out and bought my self a land rover shooting truck, been using it for a few days and the land owner came to me and said i was not allowed to use it on the land due to insurance unless i had my father with me. (I am 15) Does anyone know of any shooting insurance providers (basc, cpsa) ect that provide insurance for use of motor vehicles on land if its used for shooting or conservation? And does anyone have any ideas on how i can re approach the land owner? My father is mainly working away and doesnt shoot as much anymore. Bit peed off as it may turn out to be a waste of hard earned money! Thanks Josh

    Best time

Heading out tomorrow at around 4 o clock in the morning and then about 6 at night. Do you think these will be good dusk and dawn times to see rabbits?Had a drive down today and saw a few rabbtis scapering about. And also would you advise to use a pcp on 100 bar?My stirrup pump is dodgy so it will only reach around 110 bar max,or shall i just dust off the springer and bring it out? Thanks Josh
  13. I am in Friskney. I believe that the gent who invited me is part of the Wainfleet wildfowlers Thanks for your help
  14. Was out walking the dogs today and came across a lovely gentleman pigeon shooting on one of my perms. I got talking to him and after a good hour talking and quite a few pigeons missed thanks to my presence he got on to wildfowling. After telling him that i had never been he offered to take me out at the start of next season to see if i enjoy it. Any advice on any of the following is much appreciated guns/loads equiptment i am also quite skeptical due to when walking my dogs on the marsh i get quite worried about incoming tides ect, will this be a problem. And also am i correct in thinking that wildfowling is both walked up shooting AND decoying in? Sorry for all the questions and it is proably quite early yet to be worrying! Thanks Josh
  15. I have watched that video before posting this thread. I also watched some of your other rabbit and pigeon shooting videos. I have to say good work! I Was thinking of starting a hunting vlog my self but too much hassle! Weight isnt really an issue as i have slings on all of my rifles and the drop in value isnt an issue due to i use all my guns as working guns. I believe something along the lines of ''This gun wont be used much, its a special gun' was mentioned in that video? But anyway would you say it is the same value and quality of a second hand Daystate? as they are in the same sort of price range? Sorry for all the questions but thanks for the help!! Josh
  16. Well i think its about time for an upgrade. Im looking for a new pcp in .22 so if i get my FAC i can bring the power up. Diana P1000's look fab, anyone have any experiences with them? Thanks Josh
  17. Air cylinder wanted For PCP air gun. Hose preferably included. MUST BE IN TEST!!!! Josh
  18. Thanks! Im getting around 60 shots per 200bar fill. How many on estimate do you think the regulator will increase it too?
  19. Hi all. I would like some recommendations on what regulator to put on my at44 10 as i am disappointed with shot count. Also could someone explain what one does?and how will i have to stay legal? Heard of a guy fitting one to his gun and it chronoing at 28ft lb. Dont know whether this is a myth or not. Thanks Josh
  20. Been offered 2500 for it,but i suspose with age comes value? Im not sure but its more sentimental value than anything
  21. This one has very little if any flash at all! Before he died he used to use it as a prop to help himself up the stairs. He kept it at the side of his bed with two carts next to it,my younger cousin of about 3 asked him why he did this and his reply was ''Theres no fight left in me,if anyone breaks in this will slow them down abit'' Obviously she didnt know what it meant, but it was his sort of quote! A cracking gun though!
  22. I think it lived in the toolkit of a massey furgeson for a few years, scaring seaguls off when they were following the driller! its a hell of a lot of fun
