Hi back again with a L200 question Have been reeding some horror story's regaurding the head gaskets. Is this an early model problem? I'm going to see a 2008 with 89k on the clock , any tips on what to look for? Thanks
  2. Thanks for the comments Have been doing a little more research on the L200 and found this. Doesn't make for good reading. The link joins the conversation 4 pages in http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&ved=0CBsQFjAD&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.carsurvey.org%2Freviews%2Fmitsubishi%2Fl200%2Fr58208%2Fcomments%2Fpage-4%2F&ei=IRDjVKv5GKi17gaQqICoCw&usg=AFQjCNEHb5WjLYLB9o6HFt3R0DmxDokGJw&sig2=VX403dAwNixmipHy0KCn1A

  5. Mines 18 months old And much the same as yours has done really well, most of the time. Last drive of the day yesterday he flushed, chased and retrieved the same pheasant . Obviously I appoligised . There wasn't any big fuss made, but I can now have free run in the woods and pheasant pen until June . So I'll be taking full advantage to work on steadiness
  6. Had a trip to Wales again last week. Bingo (-: 1st woodcock
  7. The snow never materialised , neither did the pigeon. Thanks for the tips
  8. Sorry trying to get photos sorted Realy struggling with uploading pics??? If your interested pm me with your email and I'll forward pics
  9. This jacket has been hanging in my wardrobe for the last 6 months without seeing the light of day. Worn probably twice It is mint, no marks and looks the business . Size? I'm 6ft 1inch and these days I would say built for comfort rather than speed (-: So probably XL or XXL I'm asking £140 inc postage Payment by PayPal please buyer to pay fees.
  10. Had a call off one of my farmers today, asking if I was going to be out shooting this week? He has been walking pigeon off his rape daily despite having gas guns on the field I was looking at the field yesterday but didn't see anything because his brother was spraying. The only day I can go is tomorrow, it's currently snowing and have forecast a couple of cm by the morning Will snow put the pigeon off feeding on the rape?
  11. Going on looks alone, can't see you will have to much trouble . Good luck Paul
  12. I'll be on the road at 6am Boxing Day off to Wales ( good job I don't drink) Having the morning on the woodcock bringing my mate back to mine, beating the following day Then a couple of days on the rape I hope the pigeon oblige ? At least I have a couple of hundred extra acres to go at after dropping a bottle of plonk off to one of my farmers
  13. Thanks guys The lad that made it is 18yrs old I get to put my hands on it on Boxing Day when I meet up with him for a morning on the woodcock. A chance to walk off some of the Christmas dinner
  14. Naughty? Lol He is getting rave reviews on the pheasant shoot we beat on (-: The keeper wants to put his bitch under him next year (-:
  15. Thanks guys Yes very keen, he stayed steady through some long periods of no activity And when the gun was fired his tail goes like the clappers (-:
  16. Had a go on the rape today, plenty of birds walked off the field . Problem seems to be they leave on mass and come back in mass. Would have preferred them to come back in dribs and drabs, but heyho Managed 12 , 9 here pictured with the dog and the other 3 were still on the magnet and flapper. The dog behaved well behind the hide , it's all relatively new to him. Nice to be out
  17. Thank god for that (-: All the best with him Adam and enjoy the months ahead Paul
  18. Couldn't fit all pictures on one post. Can't wait to take delivery on Boxing Day when we have another go at the woodcock
  19. Unfortunately not made by me. A friend of mine has made me a stick with a personal touch
