  1. Are you talking about the HW97K with a gas ram?
  2. actually is www.airgunspares.co.uk
  3. Search for Euroguns.com or Euroguns.co.uk The other website is TR Robb, they are both in UK
  4. what caliber is your rifle? Using the crossman premiers give you good accuracy and punch to kill crows at 40 to maybe 50 yards. Get an aftermarket spring to tune it up. The Titan XS seems good. I got the Tarantula XL spring for the HW97K from James Maccari in the USA. Also will install a Venom Power Pulse piston seal and will have custom Delrin spring guides installed. The seal is said to increase the velocity of the gun, has to do with the way it was designed by the chaps at Venom.
  5. 100 quid for a HW77 with scope, that is a good deal, what caliber?
  6. I already own handguns and I live in the USA, so there is no FAC regulations here for airguns.
  7. No Mercy: Don't take it too personal, they are just giving you some suggestions and advice. Is best if you try not to break any laws, cuz if you do get caught, the one who will be paying for it is you. Anyways, finally is your decision if you want to break the law or not. We can't really do anything about it if you do decide to do something that you are not supposed to.
  8. Big Bill: That is a 50% increase, WOW!!! I got the Maccari Tarantula XL spring and the Venom Power Pulse Seal and will install it on my HW97, also I will get front and rear mainspring guides made of Delrin, and have the gun deburred and the piston polished. I hope that will at least give me 16 to 17 FPE. As I have heard the HW97K in .22 cal produces around 15 FPE out of the box. Any Idea if doing all of the above will yield me the 17 FPE?
  9. I heard of them reaching 17 ft/lbs with the theoben gas ram, but that is a .22 caliber
  10. I think the BSA lightning with a good tune, would go from 12 ft/lbs to maybe 15 ft/lbs
  11. Big Bill: I forgot to ask you how much FPE was it producing before you tuned it up? Thanks
  12. Did you do anything else in your HW80? like change any pistons or add PTFE washer for it to produce 18FPE? What caliber is it? Thanks for the info.
  13. Is the Crossman Accupell the same as the Crossman Premier? I know the Premiers are really good, very accurate and still holds a lot of energy at 50 yards.

    Venom Tuning

What are the similarities and differences between the different tunes that Venom offers? Venom Stage 1, lazaglide and maglaza?
  15. Has anyone heard of the Ultra Premium tuning kit that chambers gunmakers are selling on their website? Do they increase any power, how smooth is the rifle after the tune? How does it compare to the Venom stage 1 tune?
  16. yes, but unfortunately they don't make it for the HW97K
  17. Which spring produces more power: Titan XS spring Maccari Spring Venom Spring (stage one power kit)
  18. Thanks Darren: Actually I wanted to do the tune for the HW97K and I am in the US, so no FAC rules, and I am not restricted to 12 fpe, I think my rifle has around 16 fpe out of the box, mine is a .22 cal. I want the HW97K to get to the power level of the HW80. Someone else suggested I get a Maccari spring kit with a venom piston seal. I am not sure which one would be better choice? the Venomac Power kit or the one I just mentioned. By the way where can I order the Venom Piston Seal for the HW97?
  19. Thanks for the information, guys. I will surely look into the webley silencers
  20. Has anyone installed a Venomac Power Kit in their rifle? Does it add any power to the gun?
  21. I have a .22 cal HW97K that has around 16 fpe, I would like to know what I can do to increase the muzzle energy to maybe around 18 fpe. Does anyone know of any products offered to do this power upgrade?
  22. byhsu

    upgrade

of the springers I would get the HW80, lots of tune up kits for it, including the gas ram by theoben. if you can get a FAC spec rifle go for the HW80. out of the box it gives you around 16 fpe in .177 and 18 fpe in .22, with the gas ram intalled you are looking at 21 fpe in .22 The pro sport is a sweet looking rifle but i have heard that is hard to cock with the under stock lever.
  23. Has any one fitted a silencer to their Weihrauch HW80 or Beeman R1? What brand is it and how is it affixed to the barrel? I am interested in knowing which silencer is more effetive for this rifle.

    .22 cal HW97K

Where could I get the adapter? How will it fit? Clamped on the barrel end? By the way, I grew up in Guatemala, Central America and still have a home there. I will most likely order it and have it shipped there. I have an old RWS34 that I bought 9 years ago but is not that powerful for hunting, so I will get the Beeman R1/Weihrauch HW80 and have it tuned and take it back, I plan to use it to hunt Iguanas and rabbits. Thanks for the information. By the way your bull barrel rifle is really sweet looking.

    .22 cal HW97K

So I guess when I get the HW97K it will have the silencer then. I heard it comes built in the barrel. I was checking the Theoben website and they offer the Evolution silencer (55 pounds) and Vortex silencer (15 pounds) Do you think I will be able to install those in the barrel of a Weihrauch HW80? I know they offer the gas ram for that rifle too, can get the gun up to 22 fpe!!! Sweet gun! I am trying to get a used HW80 so I can customize it.
