Cheers I didn't get time to get any maths today but I got a fresh one last night and washed it well then stuffed it with salt now it's hanging in the shed. I'll give it another wash tomorrow then throw it in the jar of meths. No sure what to do with it then. Prob attach it to me rally grifter to go with the spokey dokeys.

I know I figured it might be 150 yards but was surprised it was that much further - always hard to tell under the lamp. My heart was pounding so much I could see the cross hair move with each beat, but go that under control with a couple deep breaths squeezed the trigger and saw it go down before i heard the bang - Happy days.

I just went through my application process and I believe that you only need to fill out the Shotgun bit if you are going for SGC renewal or you want to go coterminous and have your SGC and FAC run alongside each other.
With relation to your good reason this is covered in question 15 where it says "reason ie Target shooting" in here you put whatever you are requiring the caliber for. I put "fox and Vermin - see attached permissions" for my .223. The attached permission slips as downloaded from the local force site state what caliber the reason and the acreage.
I used the any other information sheet to give a brief overview of my experience.

I found the Bisley mags didn't group well in 177 in my rifle. Jsb exacts are a fantastic pellet. Although I tested many many pellets before I found one that suited the gun?

So had my first fox tonight and it was 170 yards. Really pleased with the shot just had to share with the my PW buddies.

I purchased a tanning solution from Snowdonia Taxidermy Supplies. It's a very easy process to cure tails/skins etc. Once the chemical is mixed correctly, you put the tail in a plastic container (2 ltr ice cream box will do) and just cover it with the fluid for 24-48 hours. The tail comes out perfect everytime. Before soaking the tail, get a piece of metal coat hanger wire, or similar, and poke it through the tail until it comes out of the tip.
You can use homemade recipes etc, but this stuff does it right every time.

The chemical can be used a few times before it needs to be refreshed.

A draughty loft is good it means all the warm damp air coming up from your house is being vented out.

I have mine in the loft and Feo was fine. I have proper loft ladder lights and boards in place. Plus I made a bench up there for cleaning etc.
I had problems with condensation. No amount of rice or vp 90 will stop droplets forming on the cold metal. When the morning sun hits your roof the cabinet stays cold and the now warm air condenses on it and on your guns inside.
I solved the problem by buyin a gun cabinet heater it's 10w so costs less than a tenner to leave on all year round. I got mine on fleabay from the states delivered for £30 ish. (If you buy one from the states make sure it's not 110v you need a 240v or 220v)
Now cabinet and guns at a constant warm temperature so no damp/condensation can form.
Just to add I have heard the reptile matts work but I have been told if not on a thermostat can overheat and burn out.

So I want to keep a fox tail. I know how to remove it - but is it as simple as washing it a couple of time with head and shoulders and letting it dry? I presume not?

Beth I think was snatched by another character we havnt seen yet (who is in comics) possibly trying to out run the hunter "canibals" or the bikers dal was with and snatched her to save her. there is a few things that once you have watched they clearly link to the comic. inside terminus are without fail the hunters and canibals. wer also yet to see the comics biggest villian Negan and his best friend, a baseball bat called Lucille that he batters walkers and survivors to death with for sport lol so next season can only get better.

And yeah im shocking at writting the best of times foxwit so it could take a while im stuck on the ammo question as it says calibre and ammount 3x each was looking like stf someone with enuf ammo to fill that could create a small war lol would i just put the calibre of rifle and then the ammo for the gun im applying for or will i need to put different ammo down if im testing them say ? And with regends for ammount how much is ok ? Im not sure of the quantity of rounds you can buy at once i.e air rifle tins are 200 or 500 please help as i only have a few questions left befor i can send it off

You can only ask for the ammunition for the rifles you are applying for. If it's for vermin and .22lr then put 600 down if it's .223 then 160 should do it.

Hells Bells, it gets more complicated as we go on! I'll see if I can get a local electrician to quote me a price
The boards are tongue and grooved fitted and sealed, so it's not easy to just lift one or two boards up.
That's going to make it a bit more expensive then I would see if you can get one or two up before the sparky comes as he'll just charge you for lifting them.

They are certainly using them for food. What happened to the blond girl that got kidnapped from Daryl she never showed up. I was half expecting to see her in the train carriage with the others.

I've fitted extra points around my home and also extra lights (under the stairs etc) but because I cannot see the upstairs lighting ring (because of my loft being boarded) this is why I was asking.
I'd lift one of the boards right above one of the ceiling lights then.

I had this done myself a few weeks ago and it really is very simple. You don't need to run anything from your fuse box (please don't you could fry youself) You should be able to see the upstairl lighting ring in your loft that supplies the roses to your landing and bedroom lights. Given that fact you are asking the question I strongly recommend you dont attempt this yourself. So I knew things were done properly I got a sparky in and he did it incuding parts for £50 and it was worth every penny.
I might also add that it only took him 45 mins.

lol I thought seeing as you had aa diablos you light be running an s410 ( I have one) nice air rifle though. Yeah filling out the forms is the fun bit! I had my home visit two weeks ago now looking at the letter box longingly.....

That sounds nasty! I am going to give it a good clean and soaking in meths tonight. I only took it as it was my first charlie and figured I should for some reason!?, almost out of respect or some other mumbo jumbo! I'll hang in tin my man cave aka the loft gun room.
