Hey guys
Title says it all, the last batch of winny subs I had (new box) sucked, all over the place compared to the nice tight groups I used to get with them.
Before I go buy a load of cci or the like are winnys still having issues?
cheers
Steve
dropping bunnies with the new winnys just a bad batch I bet

Update..
I removed the bouncer from the equation, and stuck to the L pattern. Not many birds around, but bagged one yesterday - it didn't come down, but came close enough to get a clear shot.
No movement today - just a waste of time!!
I just don't think theres enough birds on a regular basis at the moment. So I'm now looking for somewhere else to shoot - then I might re-assess tactics.
Sometimes pigeons will not decoy, no matter what you do.
same happened to me today

Touch and go if this is a Jack or a Common.....very close!
If it is a common its a juvenile.
how in gods name do you decide what it is when its doing one since I have never bothered to shoot at one since you scare the duck off on the river

I have paid for the gun in rabbits so i what be losing anything really

I use a toothbrush (bought specifically for the purpose as SWMBO threw my old one out) dipped in Ballistol and scrub away - removes any mud and blood and crud with very little effort on my part, which is ideal.
It does tend to flick the detritus it removes all over the floor along with sprays of Ballistol, so be aware.
when I pick it up ill take a before and after pic

could club them with it I suppose

should see the one where he's wrestling with a small red stag (I think)

Typical ex-forces gun obsessed nut-nut-job. Can't trust these ex-military types one bit....
Although that 'ammunition that expands on firing' sounds interesting and very exotic.
Your not one of them types that should be living in the us >

+1 I got one cant fault it

There is a pin underneath the rear sight then needs a bit of heat and can the be removed in a press. I have also seen people use a big hammer not my chosen way it's a rifle not a fence post.
this made me chuckle

I always thought they had to have some sort of licence or training to handle firearms not any plod should be able to take your guns

i have used a 16" cz in 22 easy to use in a car and light to freehand

when something sells well there not going to stop making them I am guessing

We are talking SH right because the 452 is now the 455. I have had my .22 452 varmint for years and also had one it .17 for a good while. Firm non believer in messing with the trigger till they have done lots of rounds ( when they wear to fit and become sweet as). The 455 aint a bad gun either and might even be better if your buying a magnum, the inletting has gone to the dogs a bit mind you.
I can tell you the safety is very obvious and as such creates no issues and also has advantages over forwards to fire if you take a tumble. I also clean my .22s they do need it and it should be done well.
Browning? never even considered one over the cz and other std bolt guns on a mini mauser action, why? its the best bolt action rifle mechanism for field use ever designed with its fully controlled feed and stone reliable ejection.
I know which will be the easier to fix and find parts for in another 50 years and it aint the browning and also which is the easiest and cheapest to get spare mags for today

Just got back from bunny bashing with a my friends mate who has a cz and I can say I have to have one cracking rifle
-
Saw both these rifles in sportsman and I cant decide on which one I want. just need some in field reports not a sales pitch from a rep

Being a keen young lad who just got his 22. put on his licence I thought I better christen my slightly old toy and go bunny bashing (fox was shot with a cannon not my idea)
We got to the first field at 11.30 and climbed up onto the round bails and had a quick shine around the fox was sat on the brow of a hill so a few squeaks and he came into a safe backstop at 200 yards and the cannon went off. quick shine around nothing about so we moved on to the bunny bashing got 10 in total and was worth it
