If I were in power not only would I make the vaccine (and all other vaccines) compulsory, I would also erect guard towers in all towns and cities, anyone seen without wearing a mask or not socially distancing gets a rubber bullet to the nuts.  Same treatment would apply to any man carrying a handbag / wearing skinny jeans / having a man bun

When you get in power, please can I become your assistant?😃😃😃

  2. Have a look at the Turkish guns, ATA, Kofs etc for under £500 new and guaranteed plus secondhand.
My wife has a Winchester Light, hasn't seen light of day for ages and just cluttering the cabinet up.

Beware, it might it might sit in the cabinet for very long periods😔.

Also bare in mind that a lot of ladies seem to need a higher comb, so important to try.

This is my view. I am also a pragmatist as to what young people who can catch but who won’t be touched by Covid are likely to do through this.

They are away from their families, they are on campus and circulating only amongst themselves and it strikes me that we should treat them as being a big Chicken Pox party. It’s a giant step to some form of herd immunity and we could have been through the other side of it now ie 1 month on and they all having it.

Vilifying kids / teenagers for being kids / teenagers isn’t the person I ever wanted to become.

Four female students were each fined £10000 each for organising a party in a private house whilst they were supposed to be self isolating  . 100 others were at the party . Several others were given £200 fixed penalty tickets .serve them right .

    harnser.

And do we really think that this bunch of reprobates are going to pay these fines? They won't have 2p to scratch their ***** with and will end up with a caution and
Bob's your uncle a fine is unlikely to be paid now and forever when this, as it will, happens again.

Remedy? unable to print it :whistling:

What happened last night - and other similar rule breaking simply means that the 'lockdown' and other restrictions will be both longer duration and stricter regulations.

But they don't care - it is all about ME enjoying myself NOW and if someone else gets ill, that's their problem - and if I get ill, then the NHS will cure me.

Agree, this bunch of morons have yet to see the thing that would stop them in their tracts, a helluva big deterrent.

Never happen though with a Goverment with very small balls.

Yep, common sense is not very common these days.  Although I tend to lean to a more open situation what happened in Liverpool was pathetic.Just remember these people have mums and dads who obviously have not done their jobs very well.... that is if they know their mums and dads.

    Yep, you're dead right.

I just can’t see the problem the elderly & vulnerable go into self isolation if they want & the rest of us crack on with our lives, what if it takes 20yrs to find a vaccine? The elderly have had their lives now don’t be so selfish & let the rest of us have ours.

    tin hat on .

I've had a good run thanks. But this flu is growing fast, enjoy your good run now before it obliterates the lot of us.

The country and politicians have become a bunch of scaredy cats. Over 200 people will die today from the effects of smoking.  I'm now over 80yrs of age and more than happy to take my chances which I have done since being bombed in the early forties, manages to avoid polio, TB, hooping cough, dyptheria and four other nasty flu outbreaks which killed thousands. The problem now is, the government are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. There is little doubt the whole fiasco is dragging the country down to rock bottom.  The people should be left to use their own common sense which seems very lacking in those in charge and those advising.  I'm sure someone on here will come up with a graph or two to prove me wrong ..... or try to.

As another 70 plus, your post is very apt.

We have all been given what i heard as simple clear instruction to reduce social groups and keep distance, we had also been advised about the consequences.

Its seems to me to be clearly obvious that people cant follow this, therefore we get what we had been told we would get if we did not follow these instructions.

Dont moan about having your fingers burnt when you have been told that the fire is hot !!!

May I ask why the chokes were relieved [ the stock still appears to be be of trap configuration ]and is that a split I can see in the right hand side of the forend ?
    many thanks Alan

Mirokus are prone to splitting here, easy repair, some good epoxy adhesive, some wet and dry paper and stock oil, you won't see it again.

  10. Thanks Dave, its got a little heavy now as I had a bad break in my wrist a few years back and it aint improving at my age.
Love my 682,  it will make a great gun for someone as it is in new condition, it just has to be viewed and handled.

Bought a Beretta A400 Xplor, lighter and handles very well.

  11. I gave my time for several years as a homing officer for a Northern rescue charity. A number of dogs are surrended for very genuine reasons such as bereavement, divorce, baby and other reasonable cases, The rest, dog acting up, total lack of simple training, can't afford the VET and of course, a lovely puppy for Christmas.
