  1. Hi, As a part time pest controller I am having great difficulty controlling rats on this farm, just not eating bait or going near traps. Have air arms air rifle and a deben mini pro light which is ok, but thinking of a NV Scope. Any thoughts on which one? cost etc Ideally something fit for purpose but without huge cost?? Cheers Cheezy
  2. Charge per mole or per visit keep it simple ie £10 per mole or £50 per visit for say 15 traps set per visit. or if very local to you a reduced cost They are paying for your expertise, remember that, not simply catching a mole
  3. Believe they are vole holes, they are not protected, but do provide owls, kestrels etc with grub. Simple way to get rid is to place a mouse trap close to entrance covered over to protect non target species, ie birds etc, little bit of peanut butter and will catch. Could try sharp sand down the holes, been told dont like it and will move on ATB
  4. I tend to use the half barrel or duffus trap, can sometimes catch 2 moles in one trap. Also have some talpa, basically talpex but with handles, use these when a mole keeps detecting the half barrel and filling with soil ATB
