  1. Hello, I'm about to be moving property and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a safe place to store shotguns near london that doesn't break the bank. I'm seeing rates of around £15 per week per gun, I don't mind traveling within a reasonable distance of London. Any advice would be much appreciated. Best, Tom
  2. Thanks, would something like this make sense: http://www.a1decoy.co.uk/pigeon-shooting-starter-kit-1008-p.asp I see there are tent hides or the regular poles and nets... any reason to go for the tent?
  3. Hello, I have some land on a local farm which is a rough shoot I'm a member of. I'm interested to try some decoying but only have the gun as far as equipment. What is considered essential equipment for decoying and where should I get it from? Location wise I'm in London and shoot in essex. All help much appreciated. Thanks,
  4. nice pics What type of rifle is this please?
  5. thanks for the help guys. Bakerboy I dropped you a PM.
  6. thanks I will check them out. Are the wildfowling clubs a good way to go? Lots of them seem to have rough shooting land also and it seems to be good value?
  7. Thanks, where do I find the people that offer paid pigeon shooting? Kent Wildfowlers seem to say they have rough shooting land for pigeons/rabbits: http://www.kentwildfowlers.co.uk/homeframeintro.html Best,
  8. Hello, I've been shooting clays for some time now and I'm interested in trying some hunting with the shotgun. (12g O/U) I'm sure it would be very hard to get permissions with no experience hunting with the shotgun. I've seen there are a few clubs/associations that can be joined that give access to Land seemingly immediately. There is the NPPC www.nppc.co.uk but this seems to be more based up North (I'm in London). The only thing similar to this I have found down south is the Wildfowling clubs such as Kent Wildfowlers www.kentwildfowlers.co.uk . Is it true that you can just join the Wildfowling clubs and immediately get access to their shooting land? It seems almost too easy? They say they have rough shooting land for other game like Pigeon/ rabbits etc. And finally are there any other suggestions for a way to get some experience out of the gate? I don't mind paying something reasonable to shoot or join etc. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!
