Thanks for all the posts re CLA game fair.I could not decide about going this year, been many times 80s 90s went to Ragley and Blenheim last two years.Sounds like good decision not to get up at 4.30, drive 3 hrs for what sounds like poor CLA.Hopefully better event next year.

Yes, it's not cheap to get in ,but it's huge, all the best traders, gunmakers are there, and it's brilliant day out. The gundog events and demonstrations, the clay lines, the atmosphere of the whole event make the price and the journey worth it. I've been going on and off since 1980.Take your own food and drink though!!!
