  1. 32” Sporter

    Steel proof

ZT serial number = 2016 model

    Comes in original abs case

5 flush chokes, allen key and auto safety lever if you wish to convert at some point.

Excellent condition. 9/10 - tiny nick on foreend and some wear to butt pad. Thinner very good condition butt pad also included.

Top lever still well to the right.

I’m quite particular about my guns and look after them, as well as just being a casual clay shooter. This has not seen a hard life and has lived in a gun sock in cabinet.

Located Dalkeith just outside of Edinburgh.

     Can rfd.

    £975

Hod, what makes you so keen on a FIELD model rather than a Clay version?

Other way round for me. I couldn’t tell you the reason but I’m guessing the stocks have slightly different heights and the (granted slightly older) field/game ones I’ve tried, shoot lower? I think that’s the correct terminology, either way it’s just not quite how I like it.

I’ve currently got a Kofs which is a delightfully light 12B, bought for carrying about all day. However, still prefer my big lump of a browning 525 even for that.

Anyway, I digress and this is a sale thread for a cracking, newer model silver pigeon at a great price.

    This above. 100%.

My 2A I described as the GENGHIS method. But in fact is the GENGHIS and HOD method. And I agree the mid-bead is a real help as it makes you keep the gun line to path of the fired shot the exact same as you eye line to path of the fired shot.

I take no credit for this!

I’ve had a good few clays lessons (not enough) and after a box of cartridges pretty much wasted at one stand, my instructor said to shut the left eye.  Difference was nuts. Been wasting my time prior.

  4. Had keyhole to tidy minor tears on cartilage, was night and day.

Later discovered big hole in my cartilage from years of football. Had a further op to drill small holes to generate scar tissue on the cartilage in an effort to cover over the gap. Didn’t work and was probably worse for a year. Pain at the start was horrendous. Would not recommend - micro fractures was the procedure.

I've just read this thread and I have to admit it seemed to confirm what I thought about Beagles.

However I have just watched Graham on dogs behaving badly and it was about a beagle cross that was crazy 🤪 but he tutored it.

So is it a trait in Beagles that they are balmy or is it a lack of training 🤔 just asking.

    Trait!

Ask yourself how many beagles you see off the lead or doing anything useful.  Eejits.  That said my two can be let off and come back. Mostly 😆

is it possible to train a Beagle ?...........

From my many years of experience, not really.

I currently have two (pedigree, pet Beagles), aged 13 and 10. The old one is still a liability, behaving just as the OP describes, despite her advanced years.

This is obviously balanced with them being very very good natured with other dogs and humans (big and small!).

Our next dog will not be a beagle!
