Hi l patterned 28gauge tss load today, no rain or wind. The load was with A1 powder and 18 grams of tss 18 no 7 shot the range was 53 meters / 58 yards. The choke was steel proof,50mm extended improved modified . I shot a bit left. Even with a more open choke very straight shooting would be required to hit moving targets. The circle is 30inch the paper is two piece of backing paper taped together. These small pellets have a lot of energy, on wildfowl they don’t take feathers into the flesh.
That is quite unbelievable patterning, especially from a subgauge with only 18 grams.

Or has anyone a cheap source
Just importing now 3kg of #7 for fox hunting in my 20 gauge via Alibaba. I haven't reloaded a shotgun in years so when I get some patterns done I will report back here. It cost US$267 including freight but excluding 10% import tax. 20 gauge TSS turkey loads are excess of US$10/shot. I think I can do them for under US$4/shot by repurposing Eley 28gram 20 gauge target loads, wrapping mylar in the wad and roll crimping. I'll see how I get on.

I'm not sure they'd eat as well but they seem to be having a good time.

Glad you liked it. I have basically missed the whole hunting seasons, funerals and weddings due to Covid. I was lucky to film anything this year. But there is still more to come

Normally the foxes are well in front of the foxes and you should be setup in a position for a clear shot. However this doesn't always go to plan and if not then I just let them go. Better to be safe than sorry.

It has cost 75 Billion and 500,000 jobs and the deaths of 800 people with an average age of 83 and no female under the age of 50 and only three men under the age of 40 (one of which was a drug overdose) and three months being locked up 23 hours a day in your own home with 5km travel and 8pm curfew to get 9 consecutive days of no new cases and no deaths for a population of 6.4 Million.
Or
You could say summer is here and it was going anyway, like the flu.
What would I know.

Great videos. If the 1000s I have seen I have only ever liked one dachshund before. Those two look like they may make the list though 👍
They might not be any good but at least they give it a go.

Be careful with that phrase when talking to our Aussie friends...
Do I sound like I came from Aberdeen?

Great videos. Interesting to see how sensitive Australians are to spiky plants too 🤣
Don't like blackberries and gorse together. That stuff can poke your eye out.

Another good video.
In the replay of the second fox in slow motion, it looks impossible to miss, but in real time it looks very possible.
If it hadn't seen the dead one, I think it would have run straight up the wire and given you a better shot. You need the foxes running in slow motion.🙂
Heres one right up the wire. But there's such a thing as too close.

Many of the shots and reaction times are measured in milliseconds so i have to slow it down to about 2.5 frames per second.

Its just one permission. And yes its a female GWP called Charlie.

If you don't mind, Are you using steel wads or lead wads with mylar wrapping and are you using spacers in your shot?
