  1. I reckon a few causes to today's night driving issues, and my take for the op at the bottom

Modern cars are higher, think all these fake 4x4 like a ****qui and all those.

Modern cars have superbright LED lights which are great as a driver, not so if your on the recieving end

Out council has decided to stop (and even take up) cats eyes. So it's kind of guess work where your going if theres a bit of water on the road, and you can't see because of the 2 above. When ever you felt blinded you could just aim for in-between the verge and the cats eyes. Well that brings me too...

And also I have a theory that overgrown verges suck up light, instead of reflecting it because they don't get cut, also pushing cars further into the middle, which you have to guess where it is, because of the above

And mainly age. I'm not old, well I don't feel old being early 40s but my eyes are now. I've recently gone to the opticians to have my first set of glasses and I got their anti glare coating which I assumed was a con, but it's worked for me. They are fresh so we'll see how resilient they are after a year or two. Also before when I drove round west Wales delivering cars to customers, I used to wear yellow shades at night and they helped as well.

I used to love driving at night, even used to prefer riding at night, not so much now, in fact I hate short journeys around here past sunset

  2. Glastonbury has a few big ones, not that I go, seen millions of the rats.

When I lived on the preselis, by clock work at about 3.20pm you'd have about 5 swarms within 10mins  go over of about 5000-10000 each all heading Milford/Pembroke dock way. I know a few thousand used to roost up at my mates farm in letterstone, inch deep of bird **** every winter but christ knows where that amount got too.

  3. It's basically the BSA I'd want (minus the hopping cheek piece that BSA seem to add nowadays)

Side lever, regged, short and a bsa barrel. Sweet.

    But

The stock is hideous, the reg will **** it's self and a x24 scope? Seems a massive overkill.

With the price of pcps even £1200 seems a lot for that. I'd rather have a se again, lane reg it, stick a vortex on top, bin the bsa can and get a hw and save a few hundred.

Cheers for that. Surefire or Superfire ? Where from ?

It's a superfire. Tbh never heard of it before, I was given it by the brother in law for when he went running with the hound.

It is a bloody good torch though

    Just seen on Amazon

  5. I can actually sympathise with that one, some of these data/mobile company's are ********. I'm aware if you don't upgrade to a current plan, it will roll over on the old one and if you go over the allowance they can charge ridiculous amounts per mb used. Never mind being abroad where it can be 5x higher per mb. A film in hd now is a average of 2gb or 2000 mb. Say it's a £1 a mb from a old plan there's a few quid gone there. X5 (or whatever) and that's a ridiculous amount. It's not isolated either. Vodafone for instance, have kept the rolling contract on my elderly (79yo) boss and he pays £50 per month for a ancient mobile and all he gets is free calls and texts (standard nowadays) and 1gb of data. For £50. My tenner gets me 60gb per month and all the calls and txts.

So whether stupidly his family used the iPad abroad and racked it up actually happened or was he on only fans 😅

  6. He's a proper Jack reacher not that midget tom cruise. Tho the end of the last season did annoy me when he was getting decked when he's been slapping about harder men the whole series.

Definitely looking forward to this new season though.

  7. Lanber 12bore (no idea of model)

    2 3/4mm chambers

Multi choke (Inc 1/4, 1/2 and full)

    Single selective trigger

    27.5" barrels

    Ejector

Few knocks from storage but barrels are straight, dentless and with spotless bores.

    Based in Gillingham, Dorset.

No rfd to rfd as I don't get the time off work.
