I got a spare Brattonsound set made at Timpsons. The ones above in pic look very different and more specialised. If you can order the blanks - happy days. Better than not being able to access your cabinet in worst case scenario. I think once you have the blanks, most high street key people could copy them.

Yes getting the blank is where the price comes from. One key cutter said hed cut if fir nothing if I get the blank

  2. Yes contact a couple different lock Smith's all seep to say that typekey would need to be ordered after measuring.. bottom key in pic is the damaged one

Have you searched online for a blank? Some places sell then for £10 but I do not know the quality. It could also be worth emailing the maker of you cabinet to see if they sell or recommend anyone for key blanks.

    Timpsons. Quick and cheap.

I'll inquire at Timpsons think theres one not far from me. My local cobbler said he can do them but need to order the blank in which would be quite expensive

  4. One of the keys for my cabinet is slightly damaged still works but hitty missy. I've got the spare also. But wanting two good ones. Has anyone had to get one cut or had to buy a blank to be cut. Just got told today it cost anywhere between 25-50 quid for the blank..is this the going rate or is there other places to try??
