You are correct. It appears that they have removed the advert for them. I have asked them to let me know if and when they receive any more, and I'll let you know if they do respond.
Thank you very much. I was looking for additional spare just to keep handy in my kit bag.

Optics Warehouse are selling WOLF ir torches for £14:99. They are 'shop soiled' but in full working order with a guarantee. With postage it's £20. They are out fo stock at the moment but are expecting more. These are excellent ir torches with a range of up to 250 yards.
Hi Steve I can`t seem to find it on their website. Do you have a link ?

Have you got any tips ? I did see the one before about using a bullet head & checking it doesn`t go all the way in. Also is the Parker Hale sight a removable item Ie you can use it with or without on yours ?

Mine works reasonably well enough on most subsonic ammo. I use mainly cci through mine. CCi stingers are a bit noisier, but work well accuracy wise on the 100 yd range. Not sure if your a member of Cambridge Gun Club, but if you are, then I`d take mine there for you to try.

Currently got my eye on one, on Gun trader atm. I may revisit this once my ticket lands on the mat though.

Looks lovely. I`ve applied for a .303 with my renewal for target shooting. I shot the RCO`S NOo.4 at Barton military range recently to 500 yds & loved knocking down the figure 11 targets with it.

One female yesterday & a male today. Just started to refill my feeder as there has been soo much natural food & cover about. Hope to get more as there seem to be quite a few about lately. Also got a couple with .410 hushpower the other week wich I forgot to add on here.

Just like to add I have bought from this guy & had no problems at all. I bought a Tikka T3X & it was as described on the phone. After travelling there to check it all out with a friend I bought the rifle from him.

Neighbours to one side of me do. we have just had new neighbours move into next door who have commented how nice it is seeing a muntjac in the garden, after moving from a town to a village. I must admit if they were able to enter my garden easily I wouldn`t mind seeing them there too. Not sure how they may feel if they spot me bringing a Roe home after a stalking outing though. I neither hide, nor openly make it known I shoot & as my house is open to the front if I see alot of people about I`ll wait till it`s quieter before moving guns to/from a vehicle.

Done over 28k now

I`m with Cambridge Gun Club. I have been wanting to look at others, but it seems the local ones to me are full & not taking on new members at the moment.

Agreed with the above suggestions. Get the extended mag release & bolt handle. mine seems fine with most subsonic ammo out to50 yds. Beyond that ie when I shoot at 100 yds I have found the cci velocitor ammo to be good. Mine with subs & the rear bolt buffer added is as quiet as my air rifle. I did replace the stock as std was too short, not sure of the make but it made shooting a pleasure with the better head/eye alignment & better fit. As for the trigger again I have found mine to be more than adequate for vermin shooting & plinking at range.

Mine wanted £120. I asked if they would match or get near medcerts prices of £60 & they refused point blank, so medcert it was.
-
Are these still available ?
-
Hope their service is still good, as I had a letter to start the renewal now ( due December ) & I see shootcert was more expensive. Cambs police recommended medcert on their page for renewals so I shall wait & see.

Thanks Steve

But the owner of a .243 is not likely to fire more than a couple of rounds on an outing so the cost doesn't become that big a problem for him
It's accuracy that's the big question mark with .22RF. Cost should come down if everybody starts using non lead hopefully
Cost wise I`m doubtful of that happening. I remember steel cartridges used to be alot cheaper & I bought a box of Gamebore super steel for around £8 a box when I first started wildfowling

Sorry for thread hi-jack, but can I just ask your thoughts on the Oryx stock as I was contemplating one for my .308 & It would be nice to hear some genuine feedback. GLWTS.

That is lovely & when my renewal comes up in December is exactly what I`m going to put in for. Just a shame it came up now & not then. This will be gone in no time, & if my last variation hadn`t taken so long I would ask you to hold it for me. GLWTS

Excellant offer & very kind of you. As is always the way, if you were nearer I`d jump at this for my kids.

Just to add another brand I was impressed for with clarity is the Riton scopes. I`d have to find out what model it was, but the sight picture was alot clearer on a 1200 yd range we shot up to than my mates Vortex. I know we are only talking about a scope for an fac air rifle, but they impressed me enough to look at buying one when my variation comes in.

Just bought one of these myself on Sunday. Paid £550 for mine & I went for a London Small Arms made one. Did you reload for it, or buy factory ammo ? GLWTS
