You are correct. It appears that they have removed the advert for them. I have asked them to let me know if and when they receive any more, and I'll let you know if they do respond. :good:

Thank you very much. I was looking for additional spare just to keep handy in my kit bag.

Optics Warehouse are selling WOLF ir torches for £14:99. They are 'shop soiled' but in full working order with a guarantee. With postage it's £20. They are out fo stock at the moment but are expecting more. These are excellent ir torches with a range of up to 250 yards.

Hi Steve I can`t seem to find it on their website. Do you have a link ?

  3. Mine works reasonably well enough on most subsonic ammo. I use mainly cci through mine. CCi stingers are a bit noisier, but work well accuracy wise on the 100 yd range. Not sure if your a member of Cambridge Gun Club, but if you are, then I`d take mine there for you to try.

  4. Neighbours to one side of me do. we have just had new neighbours move into next door who have commented how nice it is seeing a muntjac in the garden, after moving from a town to a village. I must admit if they were able to enter my garden easily I wouldn`t mind seeing them there too. Not sure how they may feel if they spot me bringing a Roe home after a stalking outing though. I neither hide, nor openly make it known I shoot & as my house is open to the front if I see alot of people about I`ll wait till it`s quieter before moving guns to/from a vehicle.

  5. Agreed with the above suggestions. Get the extended mag release & bolt handle. mine seems fine with most subsonic ammo out to50 yds. Beyond that ie when I shoot at 100 yds I have found the cci velocitor ammo to be good. Mine with subs & the rear bolt buffer added is as quiet as my air rifle. I did replace the stock as std was too short, not sure of the make but it made shooting a pleasure with the better head/eye alignment & better fit. As for the trigger again I have found mine to be more than adequate for vermin shooting & plinking at range.

But the owner of a .243 is not likely to fire more than a couple of rounds on an outing so the cost doesn't become that big a problem for him

It's accuracy that's the big question mark with .22RF. Cost should come down if everybody starts using non lead hopefully

Cost wise I`m doubtful of that happening. I remember steel cartridges used to be alot cheaper & I bought a box of Gamebore super steel for around £8 a box when I first started wildfowling

  7. That is lovely & when my renewal comes up in December is exactly what I`m going to put in for. Just a shame it came up now & not then. This will be gone in no time, & if my last variation hadn`t taken so long I would ask you to hold it for me. GLWTS :good:

  8. Just to add another brand I was impressed for with clarity is the Riton scopes. I`d have to find out what model it was, but the sight picture was alot clearer on a 1200 yd range we shot up to than my mates Vortex. I know we are only talking about a scope for an fac air rifle, but they impressed me enough to look at buying one when my variation comes in.
