Tyson Fury said after the fight that any opponent would have to knock him "spark out" to beat him, because he would always get back up. Given his improvement over the years, I don't see any other heavyweight capable of out boxing him and struggle to see anyone who punches harder than Wilder. He seems to have grown as a person and a boxer.

I wasn't aware of his charity donations and am a bit surprised. Not that he gives to charity, but the size of the donations. I know one of his former sparring partners, who said that there was a far better side to him than his public personae, at that time.

He does come across as a better person now, although I believe there was a thread on here saying he was waving a gun around like an extra in lock stock so who knows if he is playing up to the cameras or not. I hope that is true about giving away his prize money to charity, but I believe it was asked of him what charity benefited & he declined to answer it, as he didn`t want the attention for it.

I would definitely like to see Fury v Usyk & Fury v Aj etc. There are a few good match ups still to be made & I hope Whyte finally gets his shot too.

  2. In my ruger 10/22 I found the eley 38g were the least accurate & also had 7 that failed to eject. I never had that problem with the old 40g so decided to do an accuracy test & found them to be the worst out of them, cci, rws & Norma. The Norma rounds I found to be the best & they had a real waxy type lube to them. May have to try & find some Winchesters to try out.

Does everyone you have coached or shot with have two fully functional hands?

if not how do you teach someone with one good hand and one party functioning to do this?

or should they eject and pick up afterwards?

    Same question for you please

Yes they all have so far. I`m happy to introduce people with one functioning hand if it ever happens. Since I have been shooting I have seen one person born without a hand shoot & another that had a hook type arrangement that he rested the forend of his gun into & he picked his empties up afterwards. I`m not sure what the other person did as I did not wait around long enough in the que to find out.

All birds produce feather dust. Some varieties more than others. Its when the new feathers come through and the covering on the feather that protects it while it grows breaks down to release the new feather. You get a certain amount produced all year round, but even more when they are moulting. African greys and cockatoos are bad for it as are pigeons.

I have seen a very good outline of a barn owl, that had also flown into a window leaving a very good silhouette.

    dan,

wheres the black swan ground ,

Apologies as I know this is a very late reply, but I missed this response & thought even if the op does not see it then it may help others. They are on facebook too. The address is Catwater Farm, The Causeway, PE6 0QL. The turning is easy to miss, but look out for a sign on the side of a building with "Route 47 Garage" in red letters & a crossed piston/spanner sign as that is the entrance to the clay shoot.

  6. If I`m not too late I would like to take some too please. We had a donation of over 80 oak saplings wich we have planted around the site where I work & would like to continue planting as many trees as possible.

    Thanks,

    Dan.

Dont spose it matters though if they are out of stock - which is what I've found noboboy has any near me

I have never even seen a .22 shotgun so interested to see it with my own eyes

That said I wont dispute their capability based on no history or experience and I get that airguns are overlooked by some too

I would be happy to lend you mine if you still wish to experiment. I used mine for dispatching vermin caught in cage traps round the chicken shed. It is a Winchester I believe & I have some ammo, but am unsure what quantity is left.

I highly recommend the above company if you need parts for your Land Rover. I ordered front/rear discs and brake pads yesterday, and chose the free 2-5 day delivery, saving £10. The parts were dispatched yesterday and delivered lunchtime today via DPD. An excellent service and good prices too.

I also have had very good experience with them wether it was a small order or larger order, everything always comes well packed, secure & never more than 2 days wait so far.

Hi fellas, I've just got a pellet catcher for the garden, which is great but boy does it make a ping when hit. Any ideas what I could put in it to deaden the noise?

    Cheers

Get some off cuts of carpet & something along the lines of stixall or pink grip etc & that takes the noise away quite well.

  10. I was going to purchase one of those pop up umbrella style hides from someone local that has 3 sides. Unfortunately he decided to keep it in the end, although I bought other stuff so wasn`t a wasted trip. I was actually surprised at the size of it as I thought they would be too low. It was the style with the see through top section & I am going to add one to my kit soon, so glad I could see one up close before deciding to buy.

  11. In comparison in my defender 90 I went through a heavily churned up cattle field in winter wildfowling. I was on half worn road tyres & thought I may get stuck seeing the mud was halfway up the tyres. Luckily the farmer gave me his number in case I did need rescuing, but it coped surprisingly well.

Yeah he beat a (fatter) Andy Ruiz, who put no effort into training for the rematch, not AJs fault but not a great win. No decent heavyweight will be shaking in their boots, taking him on after that display.

As you say not AJ`s fault, but I believe the result would have still been the same as Aj. Hopefully we will see a good fight with Pulev as he will certainly come to fight, although if Aj beats him Pulev will then be labelled past his prime no doubt.

Busted eardrums are common in boxing.

AJ had trouble beating a fat Andy Ruiz, he showed himself to be overrated.

Never had that trouble in the rematch though. I believe Aj truly underestimated Ruiz Jr wich was a big mistake having followed his career. Let`s not forget Aj was the first person to put Ruiz Jr down & also people saying Aj didn`t have good footwork & was too robotic & he came back & put on a great boxing show, but as usual with some people he was damned whatever he did. No doubt if Aj had tried to go toe to toe with Ruiz & lost you would have labelled him a bum, instead he executed a good game plan using his height & reach advantage & outboxed Ruiz Jr so no doubt you would now say he was running scared. I was rooting for Fury & I hope that they fight each other this year & we also get to see DDD brought along if he comes through his fight against JJ. All I can say is it looks like we are going to have a great british reign with out current crop of heavyweights.

Ps Also looking forward to Aj vs Pulev too as Pulev has only lost to Klitschko so should also be a good fight.
