18months for me for fac grant with d and c. Turn around lot better if needed for occupational needs like farmer, smallholder, gamekeeper,pest controller etc. Was mix up with my application and if I put farmer on paperwork I would have had it 12months ago. But these things happen. Had my home visit the other day and now just waiting for it to pop up in the post. So really if application is for sport/targets rather than a job I believe I would be waiting a lot longer than I have. That said I have not got the cert yet so couple be lot longer yet -

Put my fac grant application with d and c in mid may 21. Fee payed. Then was told when I managed to get in contact with them at the end nov 21 i needed gp report report send in dec and have heard nothing back since. The system is 100% broken. I feel sorry for the gun shops have really lost a lot of revenue with new gun sales due to all these issues. It has been a strange old couple years for everyone and really did expect long delays but didnt expect this long.
