1. Its true and he speaks my language! - has been a great help to me and also a fantastic coach! Now about that shopping trip ........... Seriously he is a fantastic coach and is a great advocate to help other girlies in the shooting world. CJ
2. Good I am glad its not just me then....If I am asked how much lead .... I just look vague (more than normal, you know that pink look)..... and just say well a bit I suppose! However this months nov /dec BASC magazine says a clay @ 20 yards 3 feet 5-6 feet @ 30 and 8-10 @ 40yards on a true crossing bird This sounds like my worst nightmare, I think if someone said to shot a target with these stats, I think I would look at them very vague and start to file my nails or something..... Please don't apologise for being sexist, men cannot help it - oppss sorry was that sexist! Men cannot multitask - opps another one, sorry .......
3. it's stuff like this that keeps me awake at night! WOW, interesting thoughts. Perhaps you could have a few thoughts about Wonderwomen, SuperGirl and Cat Women, now they have style, fashion sense and look doing that superhero lark. They are a lot more interesting than those other men so called superheroes.......... CJ
4. I WAS SO WAITING FOR THAT COMMENT ISN'T IT THEN? CJ
5. Yes someone else said that Lead is better than Steel, however I once shot some claybusters on Double Rise and I am convinced they had fairy dust as a complete waste of time! What is a Vector - or am I having a pink moment  CJ
6. This Lead thing................... I don't do this lead thing. If someone says give it more lead, I go extreme and shoot miles in front. Once I start to analyse, look at the angle, told to shoot above it, in front of it, to the right or left of it. I MISS THE DAM THING. If I however rely on my swing and give it more for fast/far out crosses it all OK - well sometimes. Women apparently find it hard to work out lead especially in sporting because of the variety of angles, not so with Trap because a set sequence etc. I am interested in other views......... Calamity
7. Dovey Valley is great and is set in the valleys so really nice views. There are some extreme targets, so binoculars may be handy! You are made to feel very welcome. Calam
8. Dont worry you wont get rid of me that easily... at least some of you think I actually exist. I was getting a bit of a complex. It certainly got this forum rocking! I will no doubt cause some entertainment with bizarre pink moments and mad thoughts. Berretta man sent me a nice message but as I said to him I was not offended, more frustrated that I did not exist. Anyway another day another dollar ..... did Calamity Jane say that, no wrong film. It was great to hear from other girlies, I love shooting but there is such a shortage of girls out there. As my other 1/2 said we try to encourage as many girls as possible to shoot, as I do get bored sometimes shooting with just men (no offence) but it is nice to have a chat between stands about (Nails, handbags and cute puppies) especially in Sporting. Trap is a different story as there are far more women shooters. Calamity J
9. Thanks Paddy - quite bizarre all this lark! I only come on here for a laugh and a chat about shooting and to find other girly shooters.
10. You could be so right berettaman, I can't be ***** either. Night, night Outlaw (aka Bandit) Wow what is going on - you think the Outlaw is a butty boy and I don't exist! You think my children look like bald moles! You must have sniffed too much gun powder....
11. LOL - you don't appreciate the looks then - this is on a good day! I hate tennis so looks like you have to put up with the boat! What happended to the old china about having a good personality! looks arn't everything you know! Watch out I might dig out the picture taken with my Scrim Net.......
12. Hello, Hello I really do exist. I am really a girl, honest, well was the last time I looked!
13. Wow, Just as I thought A stunner! Thank U
14. I added my picture (this was before I shaved on Sunday)
15. I read the coments so i knew exactly what was coming, so i just poped the volume to mute and kept playing. That's cheating!

19. font="Lucida Console"]Thank U to everyone for a very warm welcome. It is good to have a laugh and a joke. I look forward to many intellectual meaningful conversations and discussions (am I on the right forum ). It is also good to hear from other girlies as it one of the only sports that us girls can be on equal terms with a man - although I like to think I am better! Good to hear from you all. PS. I make a **** coffee and Tea, do not like cooking or shopping........ well not gun shops, ebay, internet........ Calam
20. Good for you I get the impression that they are not hard enough for some men!. I manage to hits most clays with 24's and do not feel any recoil at all. In fact I shot over 500 targets one weekend and could of kept going. Perhaps I will have a look at some of the other forums re: 24's. My Cynergy does not like 28's very much as it jumps around and suffer with recoil if I do not get gun fit right. Calam
21. Yes I know - it is yet another little habit that menfolk have
22. World domination ..... you know it makes sense! We have worn the aprons for far to long (not that I have one) and it is time to move away from the Kitchen sink (I have a dishwasher)...................... anyway I say 'Get out those Browning Cynergy's (proper gun) and invade the men folk with clean honest thrashings, get those 10's, blow the smoke, smell the powder and turn round and grin and say beat that!
