    Air Arms TX200

Ok ... confusion over. Its an underleaver springer so not what I'm after at all but sounds like a very nice gun and at a good price by the sounds. So, if anyones interested I can pass your details onto the guy ... he's after £200 for the lot and is in the North Cornelly area of South Wales. Gav

    Air Arms TX200

I've been offered one at what sounds like a very good price with simmons scope, bag and ammo. Anyone shot one, own one, that can tell me how they are ? Are they extendable to multi-shot as I'm really after one that can take at least 8-10 pellets at a time ? Cheers in advance Gav

    Falcon FN10 ....

Ok, got my multishot question answered by Falcon today ... in order for it to take an 8 or 10 shot mag the breech has to be changed at a cost of £107 which includes VAT & return carriage, which I thought was a very good price. However, I'll be defo going for the Logun now as this can be used as a single or multishot with just the addition of the mag for £29.99. Gav
  8. SOLD ! .... thanks for the interest guys

    Falcon FN10 ....

Ok the guy got it wrong & it defo is an FN19 which is better ! .... if this is the single shot version is there a milti-shot mag that fits into it ? Gav C'mon you Falcon owners where are you !?
  12. I've been offered a Falcon FN10 PCP rifle with scope etc but I'm not sure they did an FN10. I've aske the seller & he thinks it may be a 19. Anyone shed some light on this as I'm after a multi-shot and need to know this rifle can have the extendable mag ? Gav
  13. I thought it had a 16 mag that had to be inverted after 8 LB Nope ... see here : http://airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.asp?ca...%20Air%20Rifles
  14. My beloved FWB 127-sport is going to a good home in Reigate on friday to a member on here. Its time to go the PCP route now as I've fallen for my mates AAs410. I've currently got that, a Weihrauch HW97K MKII & BSA Lightning XL, so springers all the way .... until now !
  15. On a more serious note, I tend to practice distancing in the privacy of my own garden (I dont feel as stupid then !) ... depending on how big your garden is, set up a target about 30-40 generous paces (steps) and that should give you a rough estimate. Get used to different ranges then when your out in the field you'll get used to different distances there as well judging by what you've done in the garden .... all good fun !
  16. Now you've gone and done it ! .... the lad will be well confused now !
  17. thanks guys any tips on juging distance russ Yeah, get a range finder !
  18. well.. great tips is to be slow. well camoed and measure the ground before you shoot it. if your stalking rabbits always be low and stick to as much conver as you can , avoid being out in the open as rabbits will clock you. also get youself a bipod if you havent already as you can increase your distances , always go for the head happy hunting lol Lew & what Lew said !
  19. I'm prob not the best one to give advise on stalking as I very rarely do it ... I love a good hide me ! Anyway, I usually walk around very slowly & quietly & try to spot a group of bunnys from a fairly long distance then its just a case of getting as close as you can on your belly without disturbing them ! I think its a personal preference thing, theres no right way or wrong way just the way you think is best ... its all trial and error ! I find that once you get that lay down position you can pick them off & they wont even know where you are !
  20. yes hit the nail their, and as for being quiet i wait for a train to go past about every 5 mins at mne.i picked off a full family (4) without them even getting a wiff of the gun but stalking is a good favorite of mine with summer bunnys Lew sorry gavo had a bit of a technical hitch their and cant delete it lew Haha ... I did wonder !
  21. Will do fella. Its gonna be sooner rather than later as my main hunting rifle is going on Friday so will need one pretty quick to get back out there !
  22. As said above, baiting for maggys, crows, etc. I've used cat food & grass seeds in the past. Just take your time. With rabbits, I like stalking but am a huge fan of the hide which I usually set up a few days or a day before I plan to shoot so the little ******* get used to the sight & smell. Then sit there & pick them off. I find it easier with a multishot pcp rifle as its quieter & springers tend to get their ears up when you reload !
  23. Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the AAs410 as whenever I've shot my mate's its been outstanding, but I've been offered a Logun Solo 10 shot brand new at a price I cant really resist so I think I'm gonna give it a go. Logun are a well known & respected make so I'm happy to get one. After doing a lot of research I wouldnt touch the BAM at all, they look nice, as you said based on the Daystate, but reveiws far and wide have said stay clear. It was a toss up between 3 in the end, the AAs410, BSA Hornet multishot & the Logun Solo 10 Shot. The price is kind of making my mind up for me really. Thanks chaps
  24. Hmmm, just found a Logun solo with 10 shot system as well pretty reasonable on the net. Didnt even know the Solo was available as a multi-shot.
  25. I just missed out on a s410 with 10 shot mag, scope & 1400 crosman pellets for ...... wait for it ...... £230 !!! aye missed out n a half their  Lew The stupid gob***e agreed to hold it for me as I'm in work all weekend & sold it today .......
