Hey guys just a heads up - anyone thinking a spare 10-shot mag for their CZ452 HMR/WMR would be handy, Riflemag's are doing them for £12.95 which is £17 less than usual!? Link: https://riflemags.co.uk/cz-10-round-17hmr-22wmr-magazine-452-453/

I had been struggling with my cz455 17hmr thumbhole to get anything like the accuracy others seem to (see guns and equipment http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/246174-hmr-accuracy/ Having tried everything I decided to chop it in for a CZ452 and give that a go before going to specsavers My confidence was at an all time low with this HMR accuracy thing and the weighing scales tipped very heavily towards the 452 being so good. So variation in. Surrey police as efficient as usual, back through my post box in 4 working days The CZ455 is a bit of a lump at close on 7lbs, The CZ452, synthetic stock all up with Mtc Mamba and Atec mod is a shade over 5lbs. Consequently, it will open up the shooting opportunities as its easy enough to carry for long distances Typically, the minute I collected it, the wind round here got stuck in and put paid to any zeroing for the last week. I had a small window today whilst between jobs, so flew into one of the farms I shoot. Although it was quite breezy still, I quickly threw a target out at 50 yards, loaded up with Winchesters and within 5 shots was on the bull. I had 4 shots left in a case so, now running a bit behind, ran the target out to 100yards, quick dash back and pumped the 4 shots off. Grabbed the target, kit and headed back off to work. So a less than ideal conditions, but very pleased with the results. 1" high at 100yds, so I dialled off 8 clicks on the elevation that should put me fairly close to the bull next time out Confidence back, I am really looking forward to seeing what this cracking little outfit can do
