  1. Hi I have recently been granted my shotgun licence and am looking for an experienced person to take me out shooting. I would be grateful if somebody could do this to ensure that I am doing things correctly and to help me gain some experience. I would rather learnt he correct way form somebody who has experience in shooting and be able to shared their experience and knowledge with me. I live in Bournemouth Dorset but am willing to travel. If you could help please pm me. Many thanks in anticipation Matt Hartwell
  2. I've got to rehome my ferrets. I was flooded out in January, it was a rented house, the place needs gutting and work will not begin for months as the landlord is overseas. I can't live in limbo any more so I'm quitting the tenancy and I'll have to rehome the ferrets. There's four jills, aged between 3 and 4 years. They're not related. The oldest became foster mother to the other three when her litter died and they've been together all their lives. Two white, two polecat cross. I also have an intact polecat hob. Not sure how old he is but I would say no more than four years. I adopted him when a neighbour found him living under his shed. All are working ferrets but they are very well handled and good natured and all in excellent health. They have lived all their lives in a good sized court with space and activity so I won't let them go into hutches. If possible I'd like them to stay together. The hob is more of a pet. He's in with the jills but they get jill-jabbed every March and they live together no problem. He's a wanderer though, so I haven't worked him as I'll probably lose him. He's very docile and good natured and likes human company. I don't want any money for them, just a good home, preferably for all of them together. Can anyone help?
  3. hi all, happy new year. I and 2 others are looking for opportunities to control vermin, rabbits, pigeon, squirrel, fox in Dorset or Hants, any help greatfully recieved. We are all experienced, licensed and insured and currently shoot in west sussex, its a 6 hour round trip so its a bit of a hike to shoot regularly and our wives are starting to grumble.
