smiiithy
Hi all, I’m just getting into shooting and currently waiting for my SGC to come back. Does anybody have and suggestions on the best gun ground within reasonable travelling distance of South-East Northumberland to get tuition? I’d like to build some base skills to get into practice for shooting live quarry. Bywell comes recommended just wondering if anybody has any additional suggestions? I’d like to try a few kinds of guns and get advice on the gun best suited for my needs, is this the norm during beginners tuition? Does anybody know what I should be looking to pay? Cheers, Mike Edited September 29, 2009 by smiiithy
Breastman
Hi Mike Bywell is the best i know of round here, but after that you could give Steve Smiths Shooting Ground in Dinnington a go. I think Jack charges about £25-35 per lesson which includes your cartridges. I had a few lessons there when i first started and its a good way to learn the basics. Mark

smiiithy
Thanks guys. Do you know if it is acceptable for a shooter to turn up even without a gun? Like I say I'd like to try a few before buying my own. Cheers, Mike

smiiithy
Going to book a lesson at Steve Smith's on Friday. Do you go to Bebside on the clays these days Rob? I'd be up for a day or two on the clays once I get my gun if you fancy it and in the mean-time I don't mind running the trap for you
