badshot Posted October 1, 2009 Report Share Posted October 1, 2009 Personally can't stand red, it is not good enough for long range identification, might be because I am colour blind though. I use amber and get on well with it, it gives a much brighter light that goes further, same lamp probably twice as far. never tried blue or green yet.
