tdsmith
Hey there guys, this is my first post on here as today i got my New air rifle which is a BSA XL tactical. I haven't yet got around to going out on some land yet but at the small range they had at the shop i became very worried that the scope was not correct as I had ordered a Hawke Illuminated Mil-dot and i couldn't see the dots. I ask and he said yeah this is a mil dot. i am really puzzled. i haven't tried aiming at more then 10ft so i don't know if its a distance thing, had my eyes check about 2 weeks ago and i was told i had the all clear. so can anyone help? Ozzy Fudd
you mean you cant see the illuminated red dot? Edited October 2, 2009 by babbyc1000
badshot
Have you tried to adjust the focus on the eyepiece end of the scope, (assuming it has it of course). This needs to be adjusted to make the reticle clear at the same time as whatever you are aiming at in the distance. If you put up the exact model it can be checked out on the web as to what it has, or should have.
