Stealth Stalker Posted October 8, 2009 Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 Had a good days beating at the local estate today with my young lab Molly doing well on her first proper full day out on the estate. She capped the day off with 6 duck retrieved from the lake :yp: It was a bit of a P Watch get together, with 5 Pw members in the beating line. Iaindp's face was a picture when the keeper gave him the task of working his young springer Harvey down a thick hedgeline in front of the guns on a particularly large drive. But Harvey performed brilliantly One chuffed handler And to think he was gonna leave him at home. I walked past what I thought to be a badger latrine & another beater stuck his stick down the hole only to stir up a massive wasp nest unfortunately for Nickbeardo he was first in line for their fury, I near wet me self seeing him dancing around slapping his head he came off very lightly with just the 1 sting. Another great day over "Tim's". Harvey has slept ever since! Can't wait for next week now. The duck drive was a great end to the day.
