Just been checking the weather reports for monday, and its looking good for a change. we are fishing from Holyhead deeps on My Way, and main target will be some nice Tope and Spurdogs. I never let myself get too excited this time of year, as most of the trips i book are blown off, but the forcast is looking up. Will be getting my heavy traces made up over the weekend, and the chilli making kit. Wont be able to sleep now all weekend. :good:

So, whats everybody else got planned for the fishing ahead?

i'm getting geared up for the winter chub fishing on the rivers around me, wensum, yare and waveney, ive not bothered all summer, the rivers have almost come to a stand still and crystal clear, now with a bit of rain coming our way should colour the rivers nicely and add a bit of flow, i'm sure to get a few ear fulls of mrs mikee now the stinky cheese paste making season is on us again

Im going to try and get down south at some point over the winter, so we could do a southern fishing meet with the girls down your neck of the woods. Im sure they fancy the challenge. :good:

MM theres plenty of water to go at round here, several rivers within a few minutes drive, the broads about 45minutes away, and the start of the fens in about an hour plus hundreds of gravel working and such, the lower river yare has been fishing its head of lately with huge bags of real quality roach, a guy had 55lbs recently i a 5 hour match at Buckenham
