Doggone
Don't know if you still frequent this madhouse Martin, but if you do, I'd just like you to know that I got the truck rigged up for foxing with a 360 degree gun turret on the top. We've had great success with it so far. Managed to get it in and out of a dyke without a scratch on it, and even better than that it passed the MOT today after only having to replace two brake pipes. The tester commented that for it's age it was the soundest one he'd seen. Anyway, all go for another year and thanks very much for the fantastic truck. Mick Sorry for late reply, only just seen your post. Cost me one sheet of 9mm ply from Wickes, tube of silicone, roll of weather seal from Screwfix, litre of sadolins, few screws, bit of glue and 4 case clips. Say £40 as I already had sadolins. Daihatsu is fine for the job, only thing is it's abit hard sprung, so you have to go steady on rough ground. I used to have a Defender 110 with the hole in the roof big enough for lamper and rifle man, more comfortable but not very good in tight spaces.
