Sobriquet
Hi all, would like to try to find a professional/experienced guide for a first time pigeon shooting session. Have been clay shooting for the last 2 years and wish to go forward with woodies! I have attempted to contact the adverts in the back of the shooting magazine but they seem to be extremely hard to get hold of. Can anyone make any recommendations? All positive feedback appreciated..cheers

Alanl50
Try www.angliasporting.co.uk I have been shooting with them and they are excellent. They are really expensive though for pigeon shooting Alan
MC
Really, I don't consider £65 a day with the services of a guide really expensive. Not when all you need to do is turn up with your gear and they do the rest. The last day I had out with them I barely had time to sit down the birds were coming in so quickly. The bottom of the ditch we were sat in looked like a bin on a clay shoot.

Sobriquet
Many thx Guys for your replies; did try them but they wanted £125 for a days shooting in either Oct or Nov; when did you go?
MC
About 3 weeks ago, The price depends on whether you have you own gear or not. I have so you don't pay to use theirs and have them set up for you. give them a go, you won't regret it. It isn't just a day in a field you get good hospitatlity as well.
