njc110381
Well, that's what I had for dinner tonight, nothing posh, but it only took 15 minutes to make. Rather nice it was too. I realised I've got to go out so the original plan went out of the window. So I fried up some onion, added the venison and some diced mushroom and a good slug of port. Seasoned with worcestershire sauce and pepper. Then I added some beef stock and tomato puree and left it for ten minutes. Tipped it in a big heap in a bowl and shovelled it in. Well worth the (lack of) effort, it was lovely. Maybe a bit of a waste of good cuts to some, but I enjoyed it! I can't wait to get through the whole lot so I can go and shoot another! There's a long way to go yet though
