reddeer 40
Had a very nice stalk yesterday morning, spotted a dog fox chasing mouses in & out a huge corn field. Saw him several times but was not able to get a shot because of the hilly terrain, not even with the 25" Harris Bipod. Tried to squeeck him in closer range but failled. In a last effort I tried it otherwise and went around the cornfield in the opposite direction. After 15 minutes of climing trough wet gras I spotted the ears of the fox 30 meters out of the corn field, distance was only 50 meter but I was downhil, took the Bipod on full lenght but again I could not see more than the ears, the trick with the button whistle did it, the curious lifting of the head was enough, a happy & tired reddeer! Frank
Excellent :( , well done . In a situation like that, i usually give a quick shout, "HAY"! that usually raises the head for a accurate, deadly, brain shot .
