peek-at
I have an AIR ARMS 410 SL EXTRA FAC putting out about 30ft/lbs which has been consistantly very accurate using bisley mags. I fitted a WEIHRAUCH silencer today and knew it would affect the zero so I took it to an indoor range and set up my target at 50 metres. The first thing I noticed was how quiet my rifle now was. The sound of the pellet hitting the target was way louder than the actual shot itself. 1st shots were about 1 mildot low and grouping was rubbish. Grouping was probably down to me but the low POI's indicated that the mod was reducing the power of each shot slightly. Re-zeroed to take this into account and am now getting my shots withing a 1 inch circle (at 50m) Should be good enough for a head shot but I would have liked them to have been tighter. My grouping got a lot better with an hour or so of practice but my initial feeling is that it is not quite as accurate as it was without the mod. As soon as my local gun shop gets the new AA FIELD PLUS pellets in, I will give them a go to see if they make a difference All in all though i'm quite pleased but I will just have to see how I do against the rabbits ! lineshooter
I have Weihrauch silencers on two of my Pcps and they are as quiet as you say, cant fault them, I also have the new Sandwell Fieldsports silencer on m Bsa Scorpion which is the same dimensions as the Weihrauch but just a tad noiser I think. You will have to try your 410 over a chrono, it would be interesting see if the silencer is reducing the power by much. Good Shooting

Colster
Maybe worth checking that the pellets aren't clipping the silencer on the way through.

mr salt
great mod,try a few shots with accupells or aa field domes. townsend819
Silencers dont reduce power at all, it is percieved as you dont really hear two cracks, just one so you believe the pellet is taking longer to get to the target. Try shooting groups at 50m with the moderator off, see the comparison between groups, if the groups without the mod on sheck for the pellets clipping the moderator on the way out of the barrel as may not be properly aligned with the bore, play about with it until it groups ok (take back to shop bought from if not). Then try different brands of pellets through the gun to see if accuracy improves. HTH
