clueless1
Season off to a good start here. Beautiful day; sun shining, not too much of a breeze. Bit rusty but didn't disgrace myself, missed a few that were probably too low to be decent shots anyway so concider this carma for trying. Only did about half the ground we have to break ourselves in and am now off to the pub. Hope everyone else had a good day too. Cheers
Guest rimotu66
Mine was bloody awefull, 9 guns 80+ birds shot and I got ................................... 1 :( Couldnt hit a ruddy thing, the longer the day lasted the more stressed I got, nearly every bird I missed was taken by my neighbour Got the usual light hearted p**s taking which I can handle and some 'well meant' comments about it happens to all of us. So bought a new gun and have been for some much needed lessons .... it WONT happen again... :(

PhilR
I've been on two walk and stand days last month that didn't meet expectations and a driven pheasant day yesterday. Ninety one in the bag between nine of us, I managed eleven with a Beretta 20 bore I bought on Monday so am really chuffed and looking forward to my next outing at the end of the month. SwingThrough
My first day was good and bad. . . . . . . . . . I shot 3 nice pheasants but others were shooting alot of very low birds almost plucking them well enough to start cooking it We ended up with 167 Pheasants, 1 Woodcock and a pigeon. Hopefully next time it wont be such a slaughter !!
