Sauer
i have one....bloody brilliant all rounder im getting average o 37mpg with mine, get decent set o tyres on it and surprisingly good offroad on grass parksand surprisingly steep inclines etc. gotta watch coz ground clearance not same as big 4x4's etc bsack seats drop down in seconds giving huge boot space !!!! with 2 front seats no manual low ratio box like old 4x4's but still not bad at all peace o mind now wife has it for her n the kids coz i actually felt thatmy 2005 plate was too good a motor for my shooting and for the family now have an old ford maverick as a shoot vehicle love the xtrail sauer Edited November 1, 2009 by Sauer
David BASC
Had a Sport version for 2 years now, love it to bits. Got decent control as standard and auto 4WD too, ie it runs in 2wd untill things get slippy then it automatically switched to 4wd. Loads of space, and I get 42 mpg for my diesel David
shaun4860
Im on my second, i think they are great....average 40s on a run, Road tax is £215 this year but expected to rise to £260 next year loads of space for shooting stuff, great big sunroof for lamping out of, BUT they arnt a dedicated off roader and do have limits, they really should have put a low ratio box in and these would have been one of the greats, however once you have found YOUR limits and the trucks, (i been stuck twice and am still looking lol) they are adequate.... go on... buy one you know you want too.... shaun Edited November 1, 2009 by shaun4860
