  2. Hi there , I work abroad but a colleague who lives in Chesire area is wanting to get an air rifle to plink about & maybe do bit of ratting / rabbits etc s . He was asking my advice & he's not wanting to spend huge amount as not sure if he will stick it . So. I advice a Springer or gas ram rather than pcp , and all that goes with it , cylinders etc . So Springer or gas ram ? What's advantages / disadvantages . Also I'm only familiar with weirauch to be honest so what one to get ? He's looking at a gas ram gammo . Any good shops Chesire area ( I'm Scotland). Or even local to him 2nd hand ? Cheers Paul
  3. Hi folks The red "SRS" ( seatbelt restraint system) or airbag light as others call it has come on in my 55 plate shogun sport , Local lad at garage plugged in his diagnostic and says no fault , he says maybe have to go to Mitsubishi or someone with updated machine to double, check or cancel the light . Everyone else wanting £75 plus vat just to plug it in never mind do anything! Anyone had this before or know how to reset it ? Paul

  5. Got couple from Lidls A fairly powerful led one above garage door , triggers when come down drive and bloody bright , been great so far , and a less powerful one round back of garage which is lot less powerful and gives a broad gentler light .... Would be ideal for above doors into the house ... Can't fault them, they both in a great area for panels to catch sun all day Paul

    Aspergers

I have two boys 4 & 5yrs old who are both autistic and to be honest reading the **** that's been written here by some regarding its just an excuse for lazy parenting and chastisement!?!?!?!! I was brought up old school.... misbehave... got a wallop.... eat yer tea no...well then get it cold later..... trust me ..I thought same till I was educated...... try that old style with autistic children AND IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!! IT CAUSES HARM AND MASSIVE STRESS!!! unless you know or experience the hurt of your own blood stressed out by a situation that is ok for your every day ordinary person ...then I suggest you shut the hell up and learn about the conditions and what it means for the persons with it..... go onto the national autistic website and do the questionaires on ther eto see if you have "markers" of autism.... more than 1 in 100 adults are on the spectrum undiagnosed easy for folk to comment unless they have experienced it themselves. hats off to the original poster on way you dealt with your colleague on the aspergers scheme..... showed compassion & understanding and Im guessing you might just be getting an idea how thankful this guy is to you.....hes probably been going through a lot inside his head dealing with what hes done...... paul

  18. as said already bst way to cook rabbit is either of two ways ...same with most game coz its soooo lean 1.....hard n fast n hot like burgers etc 2....low n slow ... i use both.... removing the scent glands is a must or it will put you off rabbit and leave a yeuchy aftertaste. i remove scent glands AND i soak overnight in fridge/chiller in salted cold water....this leechs out any blood in the tissue ...after all its the blood that taints meat. as already said mark gilchrist way is good...i simmer emin a burco boiler till meat falling off the bone....let cool then just like picking a sunday chicken carcass remove the meat and put in an old ice cream tub give a quick shake of olive oil over it salt n pepper n whatever else you fancy ...grated garlic etc....mix well and will keep in fridge fr week easy come home from work cant be *****?....fry off some stir fry vwg throw in a hand full of wabbit out your tub add a chinese pack o sauce throw in some noodles volia!!! or other way i love rabbit burgers.....chill in salty water as before. next day drain and de-bone all the meat.... mince it ......buy some mishsped bacon packs or smoked ham soup packs...i use roughly 3 packs ber twenty rabbits.....mince that mix well and add what evr you like ....just finished adding curry paste & a jar o chilli hot mango chutney burgers...and they are bloody ace!!!!! last batch was jist rabbit & onion ...finey diced ,mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...others done were rabbit & diced chilli...rabbit n bbq sauce etc etc only limit is yer imagination!!!!!! paul
