smiiithy
Does anybody have one of these Hawke Match mounts or have any comments on this mount? It's to go on a BSA Tactical XL (maxigrip rail) with Hawke Eclipse 3 - 9 x50 IR. Hawke Match Mount 1 Piece 1" 9-11mm HIGH "Hawke Match mounts feature a recoil stop and cushion tape to prevent damage to the riflescope tube. The double hex screws and precision machined dovetail clamp rail fit snugly onto the rifle dovetail. The dovetail clamp rail is reversible to fit both 9-11mm (airgun) and 3/8” rimfire rifle receivers. The mounts feature a stylish ribbed top cap that is also Fastned by double screws on each side. During manufacture all the sharp edges are rounded to prevent the accidental pinching of the riflescope tube." George1990
Won't go wrong with the Sportsmatch ones
steve_b_wales
These are good mounts. I used a set like these a few years ago for a rimfire rifle. Nothing wrong with them!
smiiithy
But what's the difference between a Hawke Match Mount 1 Piece 1" 9-11mm HIGH (£18.50) and a Sportsmatch HOP26 1" One Piece Double Screw Mount - High (£27.95)? Sportsmatch: Hawke:

smiiithy
I think I'll get a Hawke High Mount from eBay for £12.95 + £1.99P&P
smiiithy
Grrr my rifle has a 14mm maxigrip scope rail meaning the zeroing problem's I've been having are probably from using standard size mounts. BSA Scopemaster 603c is the right size but not cheap though.
smiiithy
Turns out the normal mounts do seem to fit. Got a Sportsmatch AOP55 1" Double Screw One Piece Fully Adjustable Mount in the end. Looking forward to getting it zeroed and back in action once it comes back from tuning. One Piece Double screw mount adjustable for windage and elevation. Suitable for all spring guns / semi auto.22 rimfire rifles. Suitable for some pre-charged pneumatic air rifles such as BSA SuperTen and Weihrauch HW100. The maximum amount of adjustment is 2mm from one end of the mount to the other. This applies to the windage and elevation. Includes removable arrestor pin.
