Recommended Posts

first of i got some new land yesterday 300 acres of cracking land full of crows ,pigeons, ect..got there this morning 7.15 set up the hide as we were going after the crows as seen in the pics below .just useing the plastic crow deaks as we forgot the v arms on the magnet ??? by 11.30 we had shot 17 crows and some pigeon that were coming into the crows ?? never had this before  any way i rings home and the misses tells me the pigeon flapper had come so we leaves the stuff all but the guns and go gets it ,we sticks a crow on it after doing what it says on the paper and sits and waits till we see a crow some 300yrds away and press the remote it turns and comes sailing in  we were pulling in crows from way off its one of the best bits of kit iv ever spent £90 on ..my tip of the day if you go get one is turn it on when you see the bird and only turn it off if it turns away or you have shot it ..if you keep turning it on and off as it coming in its turns away most of the time ..by 5.30 there were no more birds about so we went up to some more land i have only up the road and the rape field we pulled on had 80 odd pigeon on it so we sett up again but for pigeon to finish the night off and try the flapper on the pigeon ..i pulled one pigeon that was makeing its way off some were out at 200yrds it neally broke its neck turning into the deaks  we had pigeons coming from yrds away after seeing it ..it works on pigeons just as good as crows only thing is the pigeons are harder to hit B) oh yeh i was also trying out my franchi 712 auto in real tree cammo got it yesterday and it never missed a beat in fact i shot more with it than my other gun :( so thats two things iv im well happy about ...get your self a flapper there brill good when them birds are magnet shy ..im really really happy with mine B) and im going back for 1/2 a day shooting tomorrow its alright for some ???
