Remington 1100
The 14th is our frist shoot day since we took over this year. We all are a bit nervous, lol. Last years bags were 45 - 55 a day but we are hoping for closer to 100 a day. I hope the weather will be on our side and the guns all shoot well. I will give an update (if its good news lol) James

KFC
Hi James, We had our first shoot today, I'm only a beater. It was near Sawtry. The wind made for some interesting birds. They had no trouble gaining altitude and they went like rockets. Quite a few made it home but 29 brace of Pheasant and 12 brace of Ducks didn't. That's with 8 guns and driven birds. Plenty of Hares but none were bagged. They sat tight until they could see a clear escape route and then took it. Several ran back through the beaters line. The wind certainly freshened up my complexion!!
Remington 1100
Hello all sorry for the delay ! We got 39 pheasants 2 partridge and 2 pigeon The wind and rain was pounding hard all day ! We are a bit disappointed about the number of birds that showed them selves but we did all we could on the day. The reason I have been busy is that on saturday night a EFFIN FOX got in my chicken pen and killed my best layers, so i have been on patrol.
