markm
1 start beating or helping out with farmers local you. 2 at school for GCSE's do MES, Resist mat, geog, plus others (key skill based courses if you school does them) 3 write to local colleges. express an interest already in courses they run, keep reply letters for the future 4 make sure your work experience is countryside based 5 get the best exam results you can (most important) dont worry about books yet, old school - farmers and keepers are you best bet

nailer
When I was 13 (a long long time ago lol) I worked with the local estate keeper. Used to have to be at his for 4am. Then we did what we had to feeding and general keeper work. I went every weekend and any and all holidays. I gained much experience over the next 3 yrs. Unfortunately I did not follow keepering as a career. However, I definately had found a way in so to speak. I was never paid a penny nor asked for any mun. Perhaps if you were to offer your services there may be a way in for you to. Good luck.
