Mr BEE
Hi all could i plse pick your brains. Looking for a low light scope for air rifle for close to medium range. I am noobie just point and shoot. Learning the over under aiming. Are the ir reticules worth thier salt or not. Any scope to look into budget changes the longer i wait... What about mildots? Other multi aim point scopes..... Thanks Ste....
ozzy518
I had a Hawke scope on my AAs410 with midots....once you understand how they work its easy...If just starting out I wouldnt bother getting a scope that has anything too complicated by way of reticle...No real need for IR as its just as easy to fit a small lamp for night shooting. Paddy Galore!
Practice, practice, practice... personally i've never bothered with mill dots or illuminated reticules but this is only personal preference. try zeroing the scope at say 35yds, and using target boards at set distances see where the pellets hit, this will tell you where to aim at. get the best scope you can possibly afford with as much light transferance and you wont need an IR scope.
