columbus Posted October 6, 2002 Report Share Posted October 6, 2002 While checking out some recent posts i read the one by ernyha about pigeon acting oddly in a high pressure situation.This made me think why should H.P.affect pigeon in this way. Could it be that the weather is so mild that they don't have to feed so hard to keep up thier body weight,or is it that there is not enough wind to keep them on the wing.Lets have some thoughts on it from you experenced pigeon shooters. Cranfield Posted October 6, 2002 Report Share Posted October 6, 2002 I assume the "settled" nature of the weather "relaxes" them and takes the urgency out of their feeding. The opposite certainly happens. Just before a cold bleak spell, they feed like crazy. If snows in the air, they are even more frantic.
