kyska
Hi guys, Couple of questions for the more educated. I have permission and FAC for several calibres. Can a friend of mine come out in the 4x4 and shoot with my guns if he has no FAC? I ask as the BASC guidelines are as long as the person owning the gun is a 'servant ' of the landowner its permitted. The land is my partners parents farm, she is a partner in the farm and I control the vermin for free of charge, do I qualify? The reason I ask is its a sizable bit of land, bisected by a few fields that allows rimfire and some that only FAC air is allowed, he has sub FAC but it would make sense if I drive as I know the land and my mate uses the air out of the nearside, he's not issured to drive the pick up which means we have to drive, stop and 'static' shoot. Another one. If I have an adjustable FAC air, do I still need clearance for land if its tuned down and chrono'd to sub FAC? Thanks Kyska
Mr_Logic
The 'servant' term covers anyone with authority to shoot, so yes you are covered for FAC tools no problem, so long as the friend is over 18. Regarding FAC air, you would need to get the land cleared if that is your ticket condition - once a rifle is FAC, it is FAC unless certified otherwise and removed from your ticket.
