SteveM
Hi all, I have just recieved my Sillosock decoys from our sponsors! Very excited about giving them a go!! I brought 8 feeding and 4 standing. I also brought the 3d heads for them, probably not needed, but wanted to give them a try. After looking at them, it seems you have to cut the head from the origional sillosock, and then 'wedge' the head on. Does anyone know if this is correct? And even more so, does anybody have these and what do you think? I have tried searching, but to no avail. Your help/opinions much appreciated!!!! Ps. Thanks to our sponsor for a speedy delivery!!!! SteveM
Thank you, I havnt tried them on my hypa flaps yet. Will try them later. I also meant to say, that they cover up the 'plug' inserted into the correx. Best to move this or cut the rubber head? Cheers Edited December 18, 2009 by SteveM
Lez325
Leave the original heads on and cover with then 3D rubber type then fix using a small screw through the throat of the rubber one-into the deek- if that makes sense? works well for me- just painted the screw head with some grey primmer to help it blend in Les

Burt Babolski
I also purchased the 3d heads I only applied to a couple for a try at first as i had previously had good success without them. after a field test they do make the sillo look more full bodied so have now attached to all of mine, attached as Lez325 but did cut a small v in the neck of the feeding one's to allow for the steel rod to go in the plug. overall i'm sure you will be happy with them i certainly am!!! malkiserow
Do they make any difference to the pigeons?

mag357
I use the rubber heads on my hypoflappers on the magnet. I find that tucking the top of the rubber neck under the wing where is crosses the body is fine and they certainly look ok......whether the pigeons think so I have never asked then as they are usually dead when they land.......
