MartynGT4
I 've got a Winchester SX3 from avalon a few months ago they did me a good deal nice people to deal with  I picked up an SX3 while I was there (amongst a great many others), nice gun mate! Does anyone know if Avalon are attached to a Ground where one can try used guns? Not that I'm aware of mate, but they did say they were happy to take the gun back if I didn't get on with it. Would have been great if I could have tried it at a local ground on the day but it turned out well for me anyway.
smig4373
Edited to say Newavon Arms is probably the most miserable gun shop in the world. Sorry...Helston Gunsmith's take's that award...EASY...
Thunderbird
Is that Helston as in Helston Cornwall?
JonnyR
Thanks for the replies and good advice folks... Only created my profile last night so haven't done much with it yet, but for the record I live in Chippenham.. just down the road from a few of you I see. Being an impatient ****** I'm not sure I can wait till Feb, money always did burn a hole if you know what I mean Thanks again Wilts Rod and Gun in Swindon old town is local to you and the owner, Tony Manvell is a very decent chap to deal with. Barbury Shooting School is just up the road at Wroughton and members get a 10% discount if I recall. Also if you need the services of a gunsmith, Jim Wills in Bath, is very well thought of, by a lot of people, and is very good value. cheers,

Thanks for the recommendation there, I'm seriously thinking of treating my stock to a new oil finish soon so I'll look him up
