sean johnston
Hello blim. The cradles are easy to make.Get yourself some 1/8" diameter bright round bar or something similar and some crocodile clips and a piece of tube about 1" long and with an internal diameter big enough to slip over the bent up part on the end of your arm.Take the 1/8" diameter bar and bend it in the centre to the desired angle (at a guess somewhere between 70-90 degrees included angle)Then with your crocodile clips welded on the ends simply weld the bar where it has been bent onto your tube.Oh and you will need to drill and tap or just weld a nut on the underside of your tube so you can insert a thumbscrew so you can lock the cradle onto arm.I have since altered the cradles shown on my picture of my rotor as they were a little shallow. It is just a case of playing about with them till you get them at correct angle and it helps if you have a pigeon to pattern it off.Hope this helps and best of luck. Regards sean.
Elma Fud
Bill M Another way that may help. I make my cradles blue peter fashion. 1. 2 x 20cms of 6mm threaded bar 2. 6 x 6mm nuts 3. 4 x crocodile clips 4. 2 x metal coat hangers (blue peter style) Take 1 x 20cms T. bar, place two nuts at one end, and weld to your out arm. Open your coat hanger find the middle, heat it, to soften it. wrap around threaded bar, complete 360 degrees. Take spare 6mm nut and tighten the wire against the two welded nuts. Cut hanger to required length and attach crocodile clips, glue to secure. The wings of the pigeon then can be set at any angle required. Hope this helps
