flyingfisherman
Hi TJ91, im also into beach fishing. Did a lot when i was working down in kent for a few years.. Not managed to get out up here yet.. Was thinking of trying the holderness coast for some codling.. The fishing in Kent was fantastic, big bass and cod, in fairly good numbers.. I also go down to suffolk for the spring run of cod.. Where do you usually head for?

mr lee
I was over sandsend last weekend and it was quiet on the catch reports all weekend. Big seas, northerlies and colour in the water but only small rocklings being landed.
TJ91
I used to fish off filey brigg alot but got into some trouble there this time last year and now i keep clear of ther in rough weather, can be a dangerous place! Have done abit at hawsker, just below whitby, i know a feller who fishes there all the time, get some nice fish weather pending! Cloughton wyke is a favourite of myne, i know a couple of spots that can throw up a few good fish day and night Also had ago on the defences on marine drive, but i never seem to have much luck ther! Filey beach is a favourite when i am after flatties.
