joeainscow
Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows the driving conditions up to the club? I've never been before but have a lesson today at 1. Jst wondering weather to go in a car or 4x4? Joe
Wesman
Motorway is fine mate but tricky when you get off. If you have a 4x4 at your disposal, use it.
Ian E
Was there yesterday, the ice that they had seems to be gone, theres now a lot of soft snow, which Iam sure will compress down to ice again, but yestarday it wasn't bad at all, its certainly a lot better under foot around the ground, last Sunday it was lethal ! Be warned they have no toilets or heating, as all the pipes have burst, the Cafes still open thou.. If you have access to a 4x4 use that, but i wouldn't worry to much, just take your time and keep the car in a high gear. Chard
We went in a car yesterday, it was fine. The only awkward bit was coming home. A car in front coudn't get up the slope on the bridge over the M60 near Grange Farm and needed a tow. Christ knows why, all the other cars got up all right There weren't many stands on yesterday though. They told us 7, a bloke on the course told us 8 and we managed to shoot 9 or 10 There was an amusing rabbit that you had to shoot quite quickly, otherwise it got buried in deep snow The Sportrap and Skeet/Tarp were on though. joeainscow
Cheers. I went in a 4x4 just to be on the safe side. Its twice as thirsty as my car though :-( Had a great day and yeah you've gotta be quick with the bunnies. Joe
