sako751sg
Stuck out a few handfulls of wild bird seed last night so the wee birds would get a bellyfull first thing when we were still in our warm pits. You cant see half of them as the tree was full, mostly chaffinches with a few greenies and a lone hen brambling. If we all put seed out for them it would make a huge difference to the numbers that will succumb to this weather. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

harrycatcat1
I have just been out in the back garden and emptied the ice out of the bird bath and filled it with fresh water and put seed out in the feeder in the front garden and put seed on an old table out the back garden. They need help in this weather. edited to say good video and commentary well done. Edited January 10, 2010 by harrycatcat1

Keep up the good work. Great variation that Mike.Apart from the siskins, which sometimes visit the garden, the rest are birds i usually only see when stalking or a walk with the gun.We have a cock bully in a cage that cant fly and have had it for 4 months now.The bro picked it off the road and we presume it had been hit by a car,and one wing is not functioning. He sits singing away and although not good being kept in a cage its better than nothing.
