Hope he gets them back. My brother had 2 of his stolen a couple years back. They were terriers and not of any great financial value but opportunists took interest.

Luckily one of his neighbours spotted travellers passing buy a couple of times and the bobbies went round some local camps. 3 days later the police had recovered them from a horse box - They had no feed or water when found and were already in a poor state.

Theres chance yet for him getting them back and its a good reward <_<

Best of luck getting them back.

I had a puppy stolen a few years ago and we got him back a month later. The key is to poster poster poster poster. Put them everywhere. Vets are a good place to put them but literally stick them everywhere inc local papers. Put them up around any scummy areas you know of aswell.

Work your way through your phone book and ring everyone in it. Thats the key to getting them back. Make the dogs too well known and too hot to handle. Someone will see them some where and ring or another scumbag will do it for the reward.

Personally, if the dogs aren't tattooed or chipped i wouldn't involve the police if they are discovered. I found they moved too slow and i wouldn't have got mine back if left to them. He would have been moved on. If you know of any handy people who would be on your side these are the people to use. I know alot of people who skirt the edge of the law who class dog thieves as the lowest of the low. They're total scum and deserve whatever they get.

Dog wardens and the doglost website are well worth visiting aswell.

Good Luck

I guessed thats where mine went but it turned out not to be there. If he goes around the dumps they live in and hand out leaflets they'll soon get in touch if they have them. Don't imply they're thieving scum (even though they are) and be careful. They'll ring up and try and sell the dogs back to him claiming they found them. Thats where tats and chips come into their own. Without them the police will take too long and they'll move them on as soon as they know your onto them.

It's a disgusting scam but theres very little you can do but buy them back. If you take one of them on you take the lot on. Be very careful. Remember these people are totally above the law and have absolutley no moral code.

Ps,once my pup was found a PC went to visit it then rang me to say it wasn't mine and looked nothing like it! Thats how good the police are! I immediatley took matters into my own hands before they moved him. Luckily they weren't ***** scum. Just poaching low lifes.
