  1. Cheers for that guys Had a few questions, so to add the answers here - barrels are stamped 12x65, so that's a 2.5" chamber, and yes this a non-ejector.
  2. Hi guys and girls - this one is mine. PM or email is fine, can supply mobile if needed. Gun located in South Warwickshire (near Evesham).
  3. Still for sale guys and gals! Please ask if you want more photos of this lovely beast. Yes the LR, not the pug!
  4. 2 interior shots for you guys. Trying to get on through the back door, and an under-bonnet one too if I can today.
  5. Hi guys, Yes I have some interior shots now. She gave it a good clean out wednesday night, and it doesnt look too bad! Will upload the photos when I get to work. Thanks for all the interest so far though Cheers, Andy
  6. As in advert - the car is in Redditch in Worcester
  7. Hi there, Sure can - will get her text them over now chap.
  8. Thanks Will Yes insurance can be a problem - it rarely gets better as you get older these days too!
  9. Hi guys, I'm advertising on behalf of a girl at work, who is doing too many miles a week now to afford running such a beastie. It's a G reg 90, and as can be seen has been nicely modified. She bought the car off a shooting chap, who had the roof hatch installed for shooting from. Very handy indeed - just got to stand up in the back, and you get a good view when out foxing / lamping. The 90 has had a conversion to the 300TDi engine, and looking under the bonnet, you'd not know it wasn't a factory fit - very neat. OK a list of goodies : 300TDi engine 3" lift Dislocation cones Drop plates Large (will check size) tyres Extended arches Snorkel Shooting hatch Front winch bumper with Warn winch The interior could do with a tidy up, but is a genuinely loved machine overall. MOT till February 2013 Tax till end of May 2012 (so coming up) 120,000 miles The car is based in Redditch. Please PM me for contact details and I'll send along her address & mobile number. Price is £4500 ono

    Kelly Kettle

Great bit of kit to have in the canoe for day long trips. I've got a Ghillie Kettle with the pans etc. too. Apparently main difference is the Ghillie version has a whistle? http://www.ghillie-kettle.co.uk/
  11. If it's anything like the rev B Fronty switch, then you press it when moving (below 60 - the lower the better, or stationary) then the light will flash, and clunk she's in. The light will then stay on. If this doesn't happen, chances are there's a problem in the vacuum lines, or the solenoid itself. Generally an easy fix as vac hose is cheap, and the solenoids aren't too bad either.
  12. Great pups by the way - Thistle is doing really well!
  13. Hi there, Does the screen come with extra video input ability at all please?
  14. No reason it should stop you going out on your own is there? Just heel her over and get your J-stroke on!
  15. Old Town and We-No-Nah canoes are the danglies imho, but then if it's your first time in a canoe, I'd try one out first to make sure you both get on with it OK!
  16. Hi there - there is another option - a mains powered compressor that can charge to 230+ bar. These are usually found in dive shops. If you think that a normal can tyre pressure is around 2 bar ( approx 30 PSI ), you can see that it needs a fair amount of chuff to compress air to something like 100 times the pressure. Personally I use a small (about 8 litre I think) dive bottle, and my local gun shop refills it for free.
  17. Open Canadian for great river camping down the Wye

    bomber boys

Oh yes it *could* fly, but it has no certificate of airworthiness, due to the main spar needing some NDT for cracks. Current BBMF Lanc I think is OK up to 2040 with its current flying hours, iirc.

    bomber boys

Oddly enough I also had a crawl about on the one at Scampton (S for Sugar) many moons ago (about 24 years now). The old man has lots of photos somewhere of me in the various crew positions...must dig them out somewhen and scan them in.

    bomber boys

Yup the very same. Will be a lot of video and photos. Apparently very close to airworthiness - it's just they haven't got the funds yet to have the main spar inspected. Booked it last year for Dad's birthday - waiting list was 14 months long!
  21. Norwich will be Apache canoes iirc

    scrap metal

Constantly having all the drain covers and gratings being nicked around here. ****** roll down the road and chuck 'em in the back at about 2 in the morning. So damn dangerous. Of course once the council have replaced them, they come back again... Apparently being replaced shortly with HD plastic / glass filled nylon versions thank god.
  24. Can't go wrong with an Apache imho. Great secondary stability, but you can heel it over for straighter tracking if you are in it on your own. I'm a big fan of canadian canoes, had a few in my time. http://www.apachecanoes.co.uk you can do a bit of a DIY build too - lets you bond with your canoe a bit before use! Best forum for canoe stuff : http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk See pic of me and Bramble on the Avon last year. He loves a canoe trip - gets nice and close to the ducks and geese
  25. Don't worry - I delete them once I've watched them!
