ME Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 I bought a Jeep Cherokee from PhilSIDC on here which needs a bit of MOT work. My mechanic reckons that its all do-able but it needs some of the sills welded up and could do with some over sills or sill repair panels. I have been looking for some sill panels but cant seem to find any in the UK. I can find a few in the US thought (they are called rocker panels in the US) Some 4x4 forums suggest cutting all the sills out and welding in box section - which is time consuming and costly. Nice guy with a barn full of bits for Jeeps of all ages from the 1970's forwards. I picked up the sill I needed and my mechanic reckons that she'll be road legal for the middle of next week Another PW problem solved.
